Greek island CRETE: WW2 GERMAN BUNKERS in AGIOS NIKOLAOS

Let's go to Greece and let's visit the largest of the Greek islands, the island of Crete to visit the city of Agios Nikolaos (Hagios Nikolaos, Aghios Nikolaos, Άγιος Νικόλαος) on the Greek island of Crete, to see the Second World War (WW2) German bunkers (Γερμανικές στοές, Άγιος Νικόλαος Λασιθίου, Κρητη)
We will walk to the hill of Saint Haralambos (λόφος του Άγιου Χαράλαμπου) where we are going to find tunnels from the Italo-German, second world war occupation, the Second World War (WW2) German bunkers (Γερμανικές στοές, Άγιος Νικόλαος Λασιθίου, Κρητη). We will find second world war tunnels, bunkers, pillboxes and anti-aircraft gun sites - all of them abandoned to nature on the hill of Saint Haralambos (λόφος του Άγιου Χαράλαμπου) in Agios Nikolaos, Crete. The tunnels are all covered in order to make the entrance to the dangerous tunnels difficult.
Agios Nikolaos lies on the northernmost point of Mirabello Bay, the largest bay in Crete. Today, the modern town of Agios Nikolaos with its cosmopolitan port constitute the commercial centre of Lassithi. Given that is one of the most popular tourist resorts in Crete, the town offers all types of accommodations, various amenities and numerous shops.
