The Venetian Castle of Assos Kefalonia

I walked up to the Venetian castle above Assos, an extremely picturesque and pretty village in Kefalonia in the Greek Ionian Island, and talk about its history.
I consistently refer to the "Empire" of Venice when it should be "Republic"!
