- This is our first time trying pork ribs from @ButcherBox; we added some dry rub and smoked the ribs on our Weber kettle grill. No sauces or glazes this time because we just wanted to see how the ribs stood up on their own.

+1 for Butcher Box. We've had a subscription for about a year. If I don't procure my own meat via hunting, they are the only other place I'll get it.
We've had a subscription for a few months now and we are really liking it. I love that hunting is your first source of meat, I need to get on that. 👍👍
There's a discount grocery store near me that sells food near expiration and beat up canned food. I refer to it as the "scratch and dent" store. They probably acquire their items the same way as your "train wreck" store.😂

When I used the Rendezvous rub I use them on a fat rack of baby backs. After the top looks dry, hit it with a spray and add more of the rub. Do that every forty five minutes or an hour and it will improve the outcome. I think Malcom has an old video using that rub doing the "memphis dry" technique.
I like that idea, gonna have to try it! In our case, I just think the seasoning was past its prime 🤷🏻♂️

no BBQ sauce? Sacrilege!! We get spoiled by really meaty ribs and other meat products because factory farms animals they are all on growth hormones. Id much rather have these.
These ribs were really good, so far we've been impressed with everything we ordered. And believe it or not, I prefer most of my BBQ without sauce - it just gets in the way! 😉
