Much easier way to make floating water:
In bedrock edition, place a stair block, extend a sticky piston in to the front of the stair block, waterlog the stair, turn of the piston, and the water will stay floating

there is an easier way to get floating water. You just have to do these 4 things. place any type of block on the ground, then place a flower pot on top of the block, then put a flower in the flower pot, then water log the flower pot. It might not work the first time, but when you have done all this, all you have to do is break the block below the pot. And the flower is suppose to disappear.

There's an easier way to make floating water in Minecraft so you get a stained glass block you can choose which color you want you get a flower pot and you get a water bucket you just put the water bucket on the flower pot and break both and then somehow it just stays

the way that you made the water to floating water was because the pistons turn into kind of entities and the dont update the water so when you do that none of the pistons updated the water so the water turned into floating water

I tried to do the floating water trick, but accidentally did it on ice where it would freeze. But before it froze, it did work. I think because it glitched a bit and then froze. I tried again on grass, but it just flowed out. I don't know why or how.
Edit: btw on the charged creeper one, it also allows you to see through ice soo thats pretty cool
