Hojlund is young and raw but im not sure what people expect in this play. Ramsus has had no rotation all season , had knocks he's mostly had to play through. He barely gets a pass to him let alone a proper chance created. Rasmus has shown some link up ability but if RH comes deep and shows for the ball they don't give it to him , if he makes a run in behind they don't find him either. Rasmus is lucky to get one decent chance per match. RH isn't the finished article but no striker would come in and thrive with this squad in this system with no chances. Rasmus can do better in certain matches but still not sure what would massively change without the chances , its not like he's missing sitters or all these balls coming into the box he isn't running onto.
Main issue for me its a squad full of selfish wasteful divas in a generally dead system. Regardless of the profile and or type of 9 i just don't see how they could thrive if they came into this same squad and play right now.
You are so right. Shame on EtH. He could play a 3-4-3 line-up with 3 excellent strikers: Sancho, Hojlund and Greenwood. But EtH with his 'hard work and lack of talent' mentality cannot see over the horizon. EtH is a big car with a small (intellectual) engine. The only reason EtH is still there is not to rock the boat until the FA cup finale.

@paulrichards6894 now go back and check the facts against the other strikers and see how many chances they have been given Rasmus has had less chances created for him than almost every striker in the Prem. How many goals would you score with NO SERVICE? It's been a grave yard shift for our strikers for years wingers who like to cut inside and shoot well why not feed tje striker instead its his job to score goals. I’m actually glad for this type of report on the striker because we as fans have blamed our strikers for the past 5 years. Why are we all on a sudden so protective because of this striker. Maybe it’s not the strikers that’s the problem but the way we use or don’t use the strikers.

I am very unsure of Hojlund, If we do get another striker I think the new striker will bench Hojlund. He is missing so many things from his game to become a amazing striker. How many games have he played now since he scored in his last game? His stats sadly do not lie, he can turn things around.

You wont see his strengths if nobody has the ability to put the ball in, so he can run in to it. Too many players not looking up or unable to put in a cross/ball

With a player like Todibo i don't see why that couldn't be sorted asap , surely we are signing a CB as its a major priority and his price range and attributes certainly tick the boxes. Especially as a pacy modern ball playing right footed CB very much a priority ; even more so if Licha expected to be fit next season. If our previous and current execs both keen on Todibo and he's also an INEOS player ; unless we genuinely aren't interested (which doesn't seem to be the case) or player isn't keen to join, really no reason that couldn't be sorted pending medicals and the window opening. Most of the executive structure is in place to sign off on such a deal , Ashworth may not be happening for this window anyway, so can't be waiting on him. We've announced deals early even in the post-SAF era , other clubs do it as well. Its not like it affects our finances / PSR immediately anyway as its pending medicals and the window opening.

And considering how much JCT's been speculated about surely Romano would have come out with an update he is no longer interested joining MUFC. Otherwise as an INEOS player theres really no reason we couldn't sort that deal asap. We've announed pending medicals and windows opening even in the post-SAF era , other clubs do it as well ; I remember Gakpo when we were interested Pool announced in December before that January window. Would be a nice statement of intent from INEOS.

And a left footer as well , a Licha partner provided Lisandro can stay fit , has to be the priority. Bremer i like a lot , he is an absolute quick beast CB but is 3 years older than Todibo and likely 10/15 million quid more expensive as well. We seem to have our eye on Bremer but not sure its any further along than Todibo.

You are totally wrong. We should buy sesko and then changes in the defense and midfield to change our style of play. We should not buy a striker depending on how we play now. The whole point is to change the style of play instead.
That’s why it’s easier to sack the manager than selling the players. What you are suggesting will take many transfer windows. Many have of these players have lost most of its value. So you sell 3 or 4 players to get the funds for a top quality player In any position. It will be a slow rebuild. Something most United fans don’t have the patience for.
