Damn just realized you pinned my comment haha thanks!
Are you serious? Are you like 7?
But it's a 93 yr old women pure scot loved Jonathan I was there she said all the kilts
20 years later the intro still gives me goosebumps
Just the build up gives you goosebumps
21 years ago.... and still!
And still! My man! Memories
Same
Hope you aren't talking about the channel intro lul
I remember they were broadcasting Woodstock live on the radio. When this song kicked off they lost the satellite feed because of the crowd bouncing. They fucking moved the earth
Is this actually real?!?
That’s crazy!
How fucking insane, that had to of been a one and a lifetime experience.
I was there and it was fucking insane. Absolute sweet sweet chaos! It was indescribable
@@apollo204 best experience of my life. I'll never forget it
"That is a stupid amount of people"
*crowd turns into liquid*
FUCK man thats what I always think... after the are you ready? the crowd looks like fucking ocean water waves xD
Bender_Rodreegez they do look like an ocean with waves haha
I was there 30 ft from stage it was amazing
@@mattgrous2662 Yo nice!
Yeah there was about 250,000 people who attended Woodstock 99, roughly 200k of which were there watching Korn. I was one of the two hundred thousand and I remember it distinctly. I'll never forget it. I was all the way in the front near the stage, about five heads back during their performance. I could look back and just see an Endless Sea of people, heads bobbing up and down in a wave as far back as the eyes could see. I have never in my life seen or experienced anything like it and I never have again. It was awesome
Ice: solid
Steam: gas
Korn crowd: liquid??
drake razor wait till you see a slipknot crowd when they perform "spit it out"
JUMP THE FUCK UP!!!
Steam is steam. Not Gas
They bought the ticket, now you take the ride false
Probably meant like waves in ocean
I W A S T H E R E !! And it was I N S A N E
How close were you dude? Just wondering. This shit had to be INSANE. I was 2 years late born for this kick ass show. My ma could've had me already here. Lol
I was there 30 ft from stage
Amazing
I was there so was me
Did you get liquified?
KoRn are basically musical gods now. The crowd response was epic and rightfully so.
Not really new korn music sucks n crowd sucks too
Wolvie X you suck
@@tigerfist2864 I think crowds have been declining for years.
Wolvie x is gone! Lol!!
They were music gods already back then lol
“Korn’s crowd are like liquid” jared dines 😂
Lmao 😂
The good days when half the crowd wasn't concerned with the video they were taping.
I agree totally, I haven't went to many shows since that era thankfully because I would love to ruin peoples videos. :)
Saw them at Donnington in 96, much more powerful, raw performance as they were nowhere near the monster act they were by this point. They went on late and the entire crowd sprinted from their stage to Sepultura on the main stage - it was like the horde of Mordor in Lord of the Rings 😂
Christopher Walsh never been in a riot or known metal fans to be known for raping girls in the crowd, either. Been to many metal/rock gigs and rock festivals.
Shit pisses me off..I hardly go anymore because of it..seen over 50 concerts
@gashthrasher v.2 None present. Only one-time use cameras you had to take to Walgreens to have the pics developed. I remember those. I feel like a fucken dinosaur now.
I saw them in 94 when they were still an opening band and was hooked ever since. They were arguably the biggest metal band in the mid/late 90s.
Biggest as in notoriety because they had more tv and radio play, but as in importance to the scene of metal, it was definitely Pantera
They were on par with pop stars at some point, I'd say for metal (generally speaking) band it is big, probably biggest metal ever got reaching for non-metal audience.
And the funny thing is that jon davis himself doesnt agree that korn is metal.
Back in the 90s my older brother went to see Danzig. The opening acts were Korn and Marilyn Manson.
funny thing is they weren’t even considered metal and don’t wanna be known as metal
Probably one of the greatest moments in rock history . I would pay anything to go back in time and witness this again.
Korn's formula is slow, groovey, and emotional. One of the all time greats IMO.
“ARE YOU REEADYYY!!!” HYPED FASTER THAN I COULD EVER BE
I was there Alex. Stupid amount of people doesn't come close lol.
BLESSED!... and at the same time... Not hahahahahaha... I've been in these kinds of rock festivals and for fuck sake I end up dead for like a whole week
So. Much. Mud.
Over 250,000 people
Me too 😊 and that pit was one of the scariest moments of my life....lol
Me too. I remember it distinctly. I was all the way in the front of that crowd close to the stage
Best era of crowd... No fuckin cellphones in the air.. Just enjoying the great bands perform. 🤘🤘🤘
Hell yeah Diz!
💯
haha phone=BAD
Don't complain the Jimin era
@@picax8398 like 💀💀they just wanna keep the moment
*"WHAT IF I SHOULD DIE!"*
*Goosebumps!*
Korn is one of my top bands. I did a meet and greet and they were all so sweet. I told Jonathan Davis he's saved my life and he said no, it's ýou all that's saved mine 🖤 There are sooooo many good songs. I'd love to hear you listen to "Right Now". He's got some deep lyrical content.
It is one of my favourite songs!
Looking at your reactions I think you may be hip-hop head, but deep in your heart and sould you're also a metalhead!
Cheers, bro!
True honestly I am a metal head but I am also into trance and techno. Music is the universal language of the world
I said the same thing to myself lol
I started out as a hip hop head till I was about 12, then I discovered Metallica and the rest is history. Don't get me wrong I still love hip hop though, and recently I actually started listening to Edm and even some pop, I do not regret expanding my horizons, what I listen to solely depends on my mood.
@@Double44inthemorning same I discovered deftones when I was 12 and it changed my life to be honest
Seeing Korn live is an experience that you'll never forget, they're just incredible.
Korn, this album in particular, will always have a special place in my heart. This song and album came out when I was a young teenager coming out of a broken home. This album hits hard every time I hear it.
Same here....I was able to vent so much anger from listening to this music.
Korn is one my all time favorite bands. They’re style is just so amazing.
Welcome to metal bro... you will never see a hip hop concert be like this
Absolutely untrue, different style of going wild but hip hop concerts have mosh pits and good crowds. All artist dependent.
From my experience, the crowd was more intense at a Vince Staples show than at Slayer
@@Blorcus if you're going to lie at least make it believable
@@Nick-yh6of you caught me, I just love lying to random people online about concerts I've been to for little to or no validation.
Dude, why are you a hater? Love both genres
Bro...i was there. I was about five heads back from the stage. Literally all the way up front and looking behind me all I could see was people 200,000 strong, heads bobbing up and down in an endless wave, as far back as I could see. It was absolutely incredible. I remember this entire scene vividly. Picture yourself being in the front of that crowd. Yeah that was me. That entire weekend was an absolute blast
Seeing the wave of the crowd when the song kicks off never gets old. Sick AF.
I was headbanging the whole video except when you pause :/
You don't pause Korn.
Well it is a reaction video
Understandable but he has to pause due to copyright strikes...
Lmfaoooo facts
I'm old enough to remember when this band came out. Their first album is still one my top 10, and I've been into metal for nearly 30 years now
"Approximately 400,000 people attended the festival" let's see any of these rap or pop groups of today manage something like that......
Steven Shaffer then there’s monsters of rock where 1.75 million people attended
expect rod Stewart hold the record with 3.5
Largest Free Rock Concert Attendance
Rod Stewart's free concert at Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on New Year's Eve, 1994, reportedly attracted an audience of 3.5 million.
Steven Shaffer I was front and center for this
Steven Shaffer more like 500+k at Woodstock 99
August Burns Red- invisible enemy.
Killswitch Engage- this is absolution.
Puppets and wall of death, man. Everything you could ever want in two great music videos.
been listening to a lot of older rock/alt/metal 90-2000s stuff. really loving it, taking me back
You absolutely have to do SO MUCH MORE KORN! They changed the sound of metal when they came on the scene. They are a top five metal band easily. I could give you at least 20 to 30 more songs. They are so thick, crunchy and groovy all at the same time. Superb talent and chemistry, the making of any great band.
Reccomendations please! I'm a huge hip hop head myself from India and grew up in the 80s and 90s to that now classic boom bap rap of the ninties and never listed to a single metal band but this blew me away especially that slow build up and finally to him screaming out "Are you readdyyyy". Insane! Any other songs like this you can reccomend?!
Last I saw Korn in 2010 it was exactly like that with the huge crowd bouncing from front to back. Like people were moshing everywhere! Best concert I've seen to date.
The crowd went from solid to liquid real fucking fast
This song live is absolutely amazing. I will never forget the energy of the crowd
There is a *reason* this song has opened pretty much every one of their shows, and this performance demonstrates that reason beautifully.
As long as you recognize that the original Woodstock was held in 1969. And this concert was meant to be almost an homage to that one, as it was held exactly 30 years after the first Woodstock festival.
This is the korn that I miss and this is when they used to be fucking good man ☹️
Throw me away, A.D.I.D.A.S, shoots and ladders, another brick in the wall, liar, freak on a leash, falling away from me, did my time, somebody someone, narcissistic cannibal, Alone I Break, clown, make me bad open up. Last but not least u gotta listen to seen it all and tearjerker back to back. Same order u see the 2 listed here. Just a few greats to get ya started.
"first time hearing korn" mannn im old
Korn has that distinct chunky bass riff. It's their signature sound. Within seconds of hearing new Korn songs the bass gives it away
I was at Woodstock '99. This was the first BIG name band to play on the first day. We got a spot just right of the center light/video thing out in the crowd. Sitting in the grass with plenty of space a few hours before Korn started. When this song started I was shoulder to shoulder with 500,000 people and had been squeezed half way up tug o the stage. Unforgettable!!!!!!!
Listen to Korn "Good God". that was always my fav
handicapitation Those screams...
Those fucking screams!
@MusicMoviesGames I like Chi a lot
Wintersun - Sons of winter and stars ( Live rehearsal @ Sonic Pump Studios )
As you have a hip-hop background, you should react to Korn's "Twisted Transistor". You'll see what I mean once you see the video! \m/
Marty Bourgeois uhgg I keep telling him THIS. I was shocked to see no one saying this in the comments. Or the rap battle between korn and limp bizkit! Ha that song is so funny. Or even ice cube and korn. But this world is so disturbing and of course all the comments are for daddy. Why would you wanna see someone's reaction to a song about being sexual abused as a child? It's heartbreaking Wtf ? I wish we could over rule with Twiister Transistor.
Agreed. Do it!
Yeah..
megan klobchar daddy is far better song than those. Maybe it's easier to relate to lighters songs like twisted transistor, but for me daddy it's one of their best songs while twisted transistor is something good but not enough.
Should check out 'Hacktivist' for some metal rapping. Self-titled track is pretty sweet.
I was standing right in front of the stage.. I still get goose bumps when I see and hear this!!
It’s different when you are there live with thousands of other fans rocking to the same song as you. It is an adrenaline rush you will ever have in your life.
2:43 now that's what you call a wave
I think you secretly like metal and just make these video reactions while saying "yo, dope and hype" just to add to the charecter
AGREE
like metal heads don't say dope and hype... the point is that he didn't liked metal , now he listens ...
Satan Himself thanks for clearing that up Satan.
DeadMan nigga what r talking about I'm into all types of music even metal and i say yo this shit is lit lol
It’s not a secret he likes metal
Korn is very lyric heavy...listen to daddy. That song is straight up scary
its also straight up fucked up, poor jon.
Huge Korn fan. I only listened to Daddy once. That was enough for it to be burned in brain forever.
I feel the same about "pretty". Both are such powerful songs, sometimes too much to handle in the course of a normal day though.
I agree. Jon's lyrics are pretty much fucked up. At least their earlier songs are.
Yes, it’s fucked up. I still prefer cannibal corpse when scaring the neighbors though
Chills every time I watch this Woodstock performance there isn’t any live event I wish I got to attend more lol so incredible
Thank you for the memories! I was there, I was 20 years old and it was the craziest concert I ever been to! I mainly went to see korn and they didn't disappoint. If they have another woodstock I would go in a heartbeat!
Alter Bridge - Blackbird
Pantera - Cemetery Gates
Dream Theater - Under a Glass Moon (live)(score)
Anything from Steel Panther
cemetary gates needs to be the next pantera song
Blackbird for sure. Alex if you happen to read this bro please read up on the song. Don't go into it blind (see what I did there?) or you won't fully understand it. Its beautiful and a masterpiece.
You're absolutely correct about the buildup of energy at the beginning. I was in that crowd and it was amazing. Their entire set that night was awesome. Thanks for the great review!
Still my favorite reaction video of yours. Lol I remember being there for this. To say the crowd lost it when that opening hit is an understatement. Absolutely insane! Whole weekend was just epic.
I love watching younger people just watch in awe what we got to live over 20 years ago. Man the Metal, Nu Metal, Alternative scene was at it's peak. This was my favorite concert moment ... not sure I have ever seen a bigger crowd. Great stuff bro 👏
AWESOME reaction! I’ve seen Korn 18 times...and I know how they can build up a crowd well. Especially with their openers
This song introduced me to metal I love korn
Welcome to Metal \m/
Harshit Jha I've been in the scene for about 3 years now but thanks anyways man what got me really into metal back in 2015 was pantera
Pantera, Dude, I love it. Dime being my all time fav guitar player. I'm more into Indian Classical Progressive metal.

Harshit Jha it was interesting I'm more into tech death so it was up my alley very cool bro
Glad u liked it
THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR
I can do this all year lol metallica - Ride the lightning
I survived this! I was there for 5-days (Thursday @ noon tillMonday morning) This video of Korn was always so visually impressive. Thanks for covering it! BTW, that's just someone in the audience with fireworks, not part of the show.
Oh to turn back the clock when I was 17 and was there. One of the greatest experiences of my life.
Please react to Korn with Corey Taylor - a different world

Sina Slipknot yes, this version is great! Live footage with studio recorded audio! 👍
Ah shit. Just wrote the same thing. Didn't read others comments yet. Love this song. Love when Corey blasts.
I would do anything to go back to the 90s to see KoRn live.
Speaking of nostalgia, I was 17 and wasn’t aloud to go, but my friend and I bought it OnDemand for $100 and for 2 1/2 days and nights I stayed at his house getting high af and living one of the greatest memories of my life. UNFORGETTABLE!!!

Korn is so savage that they brought down the legendary Woodstock festival forever. Gods
Top notch reaction! ... I'd love to see your take on a band with a female lead singer... Especially Maria Brink from ''In This Moment'''. \m/
Please react to Given Up - Linkin Park Live!!!!
Patrick C. Yes yes yes YES
Me: it’s time
My neck: no please god no
I saw KoRn two years ago and they are JUST as energetic now as they were then. Seriously a phenomenal concert.
What a LEGENDARY performance 🔥🔥
I looooooooved this reaction, especially because this was the one I voted for😊
If u want the crowd stuff, u need to watch the limp bizkit set from Woodstock. It kept getting more crazed throughout and ended with the lead singer on a piece of plywood that was held by crowd members.
nine inch nails, woodstock 94. "I've got fucking mud in my eye"
👍 must watch it please
I was there. Fred didn't get out very far from stage, but it was still epic!
Meh if you want crowdsurfing bandmembers, go look at any early Rammstein concert where the keyboardist goes on a voyage on an inflatable raft
Yeah and 7 women were raped in the pit during their set. Woodstock 99.... what a horrible event.
The start to a life of metal
I know how you feel! I was a hip hop head years ago. Now i am barely listening to it anymore. This is how it starts and next thing you realize is that you are a metalhead. I love it!
I went to a korn concert and when blind turned on I freaked out one of the best songs to hear live
Dude woodstock is famous for the 1969 festival, they did one every 10 years plus one 94. Also you missed the end bit of the song just a little instrumental outtro but you still missed it.
Woodstock '99 is almost as famous as '69, but for opposite reasons of these associated with '69
Yeah. Woodstock '69 was the "summer of love", the hippie movement and it's most influencal bands thrived there... Woodstock '99 is infamous for the rioting, people went nuts and smashed the place, beating each other up...... Way too many people, way too little security... I think '69 had the same "problems", except they didn't make it into a problem, they just had a complete different mindset...
Zinetha I can imagine soon as it went from the likes of Jimi Hendrix to korn lol
Yeah, you are right with bad planning etc. But the Hippies were friendly, the metalheads were bloodthirsty. So 69 was about love, 99 was about destruction. And with the festival (intentionally or unintenionally) fueled the fire that was already burning (puns intended), all hell broke loose
I was at '94 and '99, and its not metalheads to blame (they were at both). It was 90 degree weather at an air force base instead of cooler, rainier weather in a field. Plus, no alcohol was sold at '94. That changed the vibes completely. As a result, '99 had fires, sexual assault, and just all around bad vibes once you got to Saturday night into Sunday.
Those are the only 3 Woodstock festivals I am aware of; '69, '94, and '99. '94 was in the vicinity of the original site, but '99 was in Rome, NY (closer to Syracuse) on the air force base.
Falling away from me
I'm french and it would be super cool if you react to: gojira- wisdom Comes wall of death in Hellfest 2013, it's a live and it's fucking intense
I was there about 20 yards off the stage to the right from the band’s perspective. As crazy as the video is, it just doesn’t do that moment justice. When Fieldy laid down the first few bass strums, it felt like a hammer going through our chests.
Korn is and will be my all time band you can watch a video over and over and you get goosebumps!!
Great video man! You still gotta check out Ne Obliviscaris man. Fr they're an amazing band. Literally every reaction channel I've seen that's done a reaction has given them a 9/10 or higher rating. They're amazing.
Oh yes you really did it!

Yeah that was the REAL Korn.
Never was a nu metal fan but i will always love Korn's first decade.
Respect.
I was there, best concert I've ever been to.
As you are a Hip-Hop Head, how familiar are you with Nujabes? If you know him, I'd like to see your review of Modal Soul, and if you don't know him, you definitely HAVE TO do a reaction video.
Small Vocaloid and UTAU Promotions I’m not into hip hop all that much but Nujabes is legit! Samurai Champloo all the way!
Alex! I love your reactions!!
Please, consider SYSTEM OF A DOWN for one of your next vídeos

You should listen to: All in the family - KoRn
So epic!!!🤘🎼🎶🔥
Now listen Daddy please 👍...
That will fuck him up forreal
alexy this is the idea bro.
well its gonna be fun
This song is very hard to hear and I'd suggest a trigger warning if you do. He was raped by his father and that's what the song is about. It's heartbreaking to listen to but a very powerful song.
It wasnt his father it was a woman...He said it in a interview.
as a random passer by and huge korn fan you gave it justice man its cool to hear some honesty about metal
One of the best build ups to a song period. I loved hip hop in the 90s, but I still loved Korn as well.
