The WATERFALL GETS CLIMBED at Busted Knuckle Off Road Park

- We have some some rather nasty and even impossible obstacles before. But when we found the Waterfall on Slick Rock Falls at Busted Knuckle Off Road Park in Stevenson AL, we didn't think it would ever get climbed. Well during the Trail Bouncing even we call RBD 2017 event some rock bouncers did some modifying and drug a few massive boulders down into the hole at the bottom and up the climb they went. Tons of Rock Bouncers broke and many climbed it. Bobby Tanner and his Screaming Blue buggy got denied but we all know he will be back. Heck the Ford Buggy made the obstacle look like more of a cake walk than a bounty hill. Let us know what you think in the comments and come Ride BKORP during New Years Bash.

That's all it takes. It's a bit lighter as well.

a lot of factors come into play
Great course. It's nice to see them struggle instead of walking right up it. Suspension tuning is key in my opinion.
This climb just took some warm sticky tires and the right line.

So what kind of oiling systems do these guys run? Seems like being at that kind of angle would prevent the engine from picking up oil in the pan.
Most are normal wet sump systems but many run pressurized accumulators to prevent oil issues like you mentioned

That must be a nasty climb. We have Backdoor out here in SO-CAL and screamin blue eats backdoor up.
Ive been up backdoor many times, this climb is more difficult
looks like he had a little bit longer wheel base in the ford powered buggy
probably just seems that was with it being so narrow
I’m a ford guy but stuff like this boils down to wheel base, suspension set up, and most importantly driving style. The guys that made this Hill would have trouble on hills the guys that didn’t make it up this one just go right up others.
True to an extent. No course is the same and that is what makes Rock Bouncing more interesting than drag racing LOL

Rigs needs balance to middle, that's front to back. It's getting WEIGHT close to equal on all 4 tires. HP TO GROUND. Of course pulling bounce from front or back struts if needed. Best wheel base changes from hill to hill, longer seems better to a point. Mid motor on Outlaw works good and Timmy has long wheel base, seems to work good.

I noticed on the way to the fall his suspension was stiff.....he nailed it at the bottom and bounced up it

Looks like a weight issue primarily, the smaller, lighter weight rigs had the advantage. Would love to know the weight difference between Bobby ant the narrow chassis Ford and orange one.

IMO Weight, suspension, and wheelbase Made the difference on how easy the ford buggy went up.

I'll tell you exactly what happened! You can see when the ford goes up there are still rocks for the left rear tire to go up on!

Good Lord that answer is so played out. Most of these guys are only running around 8psi. You can't hit stuff this hard with less pressure than that and not bend wheels.
