- A short summary of my weekend at Ol' Florida New Year 2023. What a well run event at a great place. Thank you to all the staff for keeping everything running smoothly.
This was my first time doing any serious off-roading in the Hummer H3 so I kind of took it easy. I'll hopefully be back for the next event and explore more of the park because we really only saw a small part of it.

@@tclucentig I'm the driver. No worries! I've only had this H3 since 2020 and have done a lot of work on it getting it ready, but it was my first time taking it off road. Hopefully I'll do better next time!
Offroad package owner here. Is that an Adventure pack with a 4:1 case or the 4:2? Looks like this was all done in hi-gear or the broncos got you skinny pedaling lol try to be slower and smoother next time. H3’s eat Broncos for breakfast.

What Brand & size tire are you running? Looks like a 35 inch tire? Any other mods to your H3?
I'm running Nitto Trail Grapplers 315/75R16 (35x12) on the stock wheels. I'm very happy with the performance of these tires. Not too loud on the highway. I would definitely buy them again. They do rub a little on the sway bar at full lock, but you get used to it.
I have the torsion bars cranked up to 23.5" on the front. I also have the trail duty extended bump stops and Skyjacker H7003 shocks. After the torsion bar crank the ride became very harsh (not enough down travel) and the skyjacker shocks are longer than OEM and fixed that problem.
You can notice in this video that my rear is sitting kind of low. I had never done anything to the rear except replace the rotted out bump stops. I guess all the weight from the roof rack and heavy rear spare tire was bringing the rear down. I recently added Supreme Suspensions 2" extended shackles and it brought it back to around stock height. It really improved the ride especially on the highway. I wish I had done it sooner!
It has a lot more mods done to it and I'll hopefully be posting a walkaround soon.
Thanks for sharing. A walk around video would be great. There are not allot of H3’s around or aftermarket support. So to see and find out what others have done to improve their H3 is really helpful.
