This is why I love Tom. He is so unapologetically real.
Drug addiction is a horrible thing to go through...it's hard on the addict and hard on the people that love them...same with mental illness...glad Tom got the help he needed and now helps others...nobody makes it through life alone...we need each other
So glad I came across Tom’s music. I’ve been ignoring the fact that I have addictions and with listening to his music has helped me have the strength to start battling them and talking about them.
That's amazing! I always love to hear how his music is helping people, it's helped me too and I love that it reaches so many!
I'm going to tell anybody in the comments right now if you don't like Tom or his music or if you've never listened to him go listen to your favorite rappers and go to your favorite songs and go down in the comments and I guarantee you you won't see somebody who says I'm a 72-year-old Vietnam vet and I like what this kid had to say and I'm a 63-year-old grandmother and I've only listened to country my entire life but this young man speaks facts or I'm a 45-year-old father and I'm going to 20-year-old son who was hooked on drugs and Tom helped him get off drugs... Tom speaks for every race and every color and every age of every generation and I don't see any other artist who touches as many lives as Tom does

Those who have walked through Hell are the only ones who can truthfully tell you how hot the flames are. Tom, Brandon, and Nova summed this up with their song "Church". As someone who gave up drinking right after my daughter was born when I was in my early 20s, Brandon's verse hit home with me in terms of 'that's what I could have become'. I didn't have a drinking problem, but I wanted to make sure I'd never have one because being a good dad to my daughter was the most important thing in my life. Whereas I respect people who made correct choices, I have even more respect for people who made wrong choices and then created a redemption-arch in their lives like Tom and Nova have. I love how they encourage others to be able to do the same in their own lives. 😁

As a recovering alcoholic for many years . What got me to quit was the hallucinations and then tuning my eyes and other parts yellow because my liver was failing . I so glad im done with boozes . Drinking i found out to try and calm my mind from PTSD from the military

I love when people are honest. I respect people who are honest when it seems the world is aginst them . I admire those who are able to be survivors regardless of your addiction, fear, or trauma. I feel honoured when this type of person touches my life, whether in person,through music, or ideals. Tom MacDonald is all these things . I am sure your parents are very proud of you , I know if you were my child I too would be proud . I may not be your mom , but I am proud! Please thank your parents for raising the fine young man that you are.

What Tom experienced was a severe case alcohol poisoning.
Sadly, it's serious and can have long-term deadly effects when continuing to put that poison in your body.
Is a painful, slow death and extremely difficult to watch someone go through it and watch them slowly die 💔
I'm glad he ended up getting sober. Alcohol addiction is so deadly, it's crazy to me how that's so legal, but something like marijuana isn't. Blows my mind.
I have a family member that is in their 20s and will have tremors and or seizures when she doesn't drink within a certain amount of time after the drink before. It's a horrible thing to watch. What's worse is she would rather go through the tremors and seizures and all of that over and over instead of go through it for a week or whatever, it usually ends up being a big seizure, and then she's fine and will be fine for a few weeks and then start right back again. She doesn't want help. She likes that life. So, my family has to watch her kill herself over and over and over. Every day

There is nothing wrong with realizing you are ok, but not ok, I feel like with All You've been through and worked through, what is the point to . F that. To have any one take from you what you are meant to be and financially make more than you make from your own mind. I'm 53, mother, told my boss, today, father of six, retired military, I'm so in love with your mind, the freedom and intelligence and balls, who do you need besides HOG? You are loved for you, nothing will ever compete, with Nova by your side and your families love and respect and the rest of us hogs who weren't there in the beginning but have your back. Not fake. And he knows he isn't the first, but he IS the one who made it an actual GENRE and he has more #1 billboards than any other fully independent artist. He sells more digital sales and physical copy sales than any other fully independent artists. Tom is completely special, and just because you think he isn't, doesn't change the fact he's outselling most of your favorite artists, independent or mainstream. He's definitely beating them on the charts. You can hate all you want - keep crying - but it won't change the truth or what Tom is doing. And it DEFINITELY isn't going to change anyone's mind lol.
