Good job! Been testing this deck along in DB rated,and the only deck it can't beat is lab. Most of them are running 2-3 duma karma cannon. That one card cripples the deck.

1. How do you feel about Dark ruler this format?
2. How do you think we deal with the chimera deck I struggled alot with it at the event
I don't really like drnm right now simply because I feel like there are a lot of decks that can just beat you before main phase (mannadium, synchro decks, branded)
It's a fine card, but I just prefer hts this format.
Also I haven't had too much testing vs the chimera version of branded, but it seems hard haha.
D barrier is solid going first, and going second I guess you just need the right hts

How do you make a board with both a link2 or 3 and a zaelantis? is it something that can be done turn one going first?
Hello! You mentioned the best endboard is Zealantis colinked to a link 2 or higher Marincess link. Are you able to consistently go into that as a turn 1 endboard? If so, what's the general pathway to do it? I've been testing around trying to find the line, and I always have to have a bunch of Marincess names in my starting hand and use a lot of extra deck resources to make it happen.
To make zelantis it’s pretty straight forward, it will take a lot of material but you usually have a full hand by the end because marincess bounce back from grave thanks to blue slug, anemone and marbled rock. You want marincess in grave so it’s ok to go through those materials right away as they just get recycled.

How do you feel about 3 Crossout Designators, and 1 effect veiler and 1 niburu instead? I use 3 gozen match instead of book of moon, usually to use in the Stealth Kragen combo. Any thoughts or pointers?
I'm not a huge fan of designator. Drawing that card going second compared to hand traps just isn't even comparable.

You just continue your play normally just without field.
This usually means you are forced to go bubble reef, as argonaut won't have much value without the equips.
Why no cinety mining?
As a newer Marincess player, how do you generally handle going 2nd?

At the cost of your normal summon, feels risky if your opponent has any interruption before you link them off
That can be extremely risky as most people give you an iblee AND a way to out your normal (spright smashers, arise heart, etc)
@@TopTierGamingYGO In that Case you also just lose in the same senario to that out on your normalsummon. The only difference is a linguriboh on your Board instead of an iblee while they OTK you Turn 3 ^^
@jensmeyer4542 no, because if iblee is gone you can use cards like dive, pascalus, spring etc.
Well both the outs you listed banish your normal so dive and spring girl don't do anything anyway and idk If your really resolving pasc against an a full board. Idk I Love your list btw so this is by no means a hateful comment. I am literally playing the same main and side besides 2 Talents and 1 Called by instead of the veiler. The Extra Deck I just would be super intressted in seeing in a new Combo Tutorial because I'm running the Toad Package instead of the second Zealantis and Eria because and I would really like to know which hands build the Co linked Zealantis First Turn Board you just talked about in the Video.

I mean any archetype would work with 15 handtraps + BOM in a 40 card list LMAO we need to start calling these kinds decks "handtrap" archetypes. It's really the handtraps doing the work, with a touch of something else that's not that good like marincess
No, not every deck can fit 18 flex spots and perform.
Many 2 card combo decks and decks with large engines can not.
A deck like swordsoul gets usually 12 or less and branded often gets like 5 or 6 defensives.
Marincess also has a heatsoul to facilitate hand traps further which not every deck has.
The power behind the marincess engine is the sheer followup it creates for doing its entire combo that few decks can match.
Marincess has a lower ceiling than many decks. However, the sustain the engine has with the power of zealantis and synergy it has with running so many non engine cards is what makes it come into its own as a strategy.
