- Gary Largo was the “Head Instructor” when the Pedoy School of Escrima opened in 1961. Grand Master Gary and The Batikan Eduardo Pedoy were best friends in school and were instrumental in convincing the Great Grand Master to open an Escrima School. Grand Master Gary is a lefty and thus is proficient with handling a bolo with either hand or with both hands.
