Love Doc Blake, Jean and the cast. How can you not bring him back. Bloody Hell he is the center of the show. Without him the show won't last. My heart goes out to the wonderful cast.
The #MeToo for the actor. Apparently quite alot of women complained about him. Sad ik. But I'd love to see the new Blake Mysteries with Jean and the gang. Can't find it yet.

I agree the show will not succeed without him. My favorite clips in the show were Lucien and Jean when together. Thank you for posting them, I watched all.
As a viewer on PBS in the US. Without Craig McLachlan there is NO Doctor Blake! Stupid mistake to write him out of the series
I love Dr. Lucien Blake. He has finally found love and happiness with Jean and now you want to kill him off. Bloody Hell bring him back. I can't watch anymore without him.
That was the most unwise thing to do. This was such a great Series, with superb performance s. I am truly disappointed in those that made this decision.

Frankly, he makes the show. I do like the casting generally, but I cannot imagine watching the show without his being in it.
Dr Blakes's voice and smooth talk make the show. However, the show is "doctored up" Garner is not what I enjoyed about the show. Charlie Matt, ex-wife, and a fabulous cast made the show Good wishes to McLaughlan, please come back!

I have read what Crag did and I think he somewhat of a prankster anyway. However I am pretty sure he’s not the only person to act out. It’s like I have repeatedly said the show and or story centered around him. and his role as the doctor. In fact I simply fell in love with him and his role as the doctor. Without him there is no show. He is the main reason I watched the show. I simply fell in love with him and his role as the doctor. In fact I could hardly wait from week to week to see the next episode. So who ever is going to produce the show , CBS or ABC or BBC PLEASE keep Craig on as the doctor. It would also be very nice if someone who knows whether or not he is going to continue to be on the show could let’s all of his fans know something, I urge all of his fans to flood this page with comments to keep him on.
Definitely not watching without Craig McLachlan. Ridiculous decision! A slap in the face for all the other fabulous actors in the series too.

Nope, not gonna watch with McLachlan substitutes. I like Nadine Garner in a supporting role, but from what I've now seen, featuring her as a lead won't work.
Nothing special with Nadine, she is the one that should be replaced. Loved his ex-wife, episodes. Now, focus on her and their daughter for an adventurous return.

Your company or station that makes the decisions as to who gets to stay on the show are idiots. There IS no show without Craig. HE MAKES the show worth watching. You fools had better rethink this decision. You have seen the comments from other people, that alone to be a wake up message to keep Craig on as Doctor Blake.
I think Craig McLachlan is an awesome actor, I doubt that anybody can replace him!!! that is why the show was a hit!!!

I've just watched my first episode of dr blake mysteries. And you can't expect to do well without him.

Craig's behavior is more like tasteless pranks than criminal activity. It's good that the cast will continue getting a paycheck, but the success chances of this Blake-less "Blake Mysteries" is low. Realistically, the only reason for any of actors having important roles to play is relative to their relationship to Dr Blake. Without him, what?

Sad to see the end of The Doctor Blake Mysteries after just 5 Seasons. I understand there will be a Spin-Off TV Series of Kitchen Sink Shows called Mrs Blake Super-Snooper which will become Second Rated when compared to the REAL Doctor Blake Mysteries. I won't be watching any new Spin-Off Series which will be more of a Woman's Soap Show, than a real proper Detective programme.

Holy hell. I'm bingeing this AS WE SPEAK. Jean and Lucien marry...finally then he's *GONE* ? Before CM was cleared of wrongdoing original Network cancelled due to "expense" then picked up by 2nd network ("7"). CM cleared, he also filed defamation suit. Now, are they gonna call it The Mrs. Dr. Blake Mysteries? Bring back CM or we won't watch.

Why didn't the other actors walk out in protest? Did they just accept without a word that their lead actor will now be missing from the show whose title is the main character's name? Insane! I wouldn't have wanted to continue playing in the series without him..

I just watched the 2018 episodes and the doctor and Jean got married so when is this happening 2019 season.
He is the primary reason that the show has been successful, or can be again!! He's paid a hefty price for acting in a distasteful manner...Enough punishment already!!!!
They probably upset and offended him and he doesnt want anything to do with them. I only watched the first show of the series without him. No matter what they do, they can't make it work without him. Lucien makes the show work. Bad decision on their part.

Good show with Craig. Maybe he needs sensitivity training but firing him and really the rest of the cast too. Just beyond stupid. Good shows are hard to come by. This one was outstanding.
