Is this voice acting AI? It really sounds like AI at points. If it is, you can tell it has real difficulty pronouncing some words. If it's a person.... well... that's kinda sad. Maybe English is a second language?
You need to adjust your computer program not to read "An asterisk symbol (*)", and give a pause between characters talking, or location and time shifts.....

It really should be more about the Animal then the Animals Human Friend....
It was a bit of a let down, but otherwise a fair story, I rate it a 8 in Expectation, a 4 in misdirection, and a 2 for actual Content vs Title, total Average is 8+4+2 = 14 / 3 = 4+....
And I still think that is just too high, because we didn't get to hear of the Cuddly Bear thing doing anything more than being Cuddly....
So, Minus 1.5 = 3.+ tops....
