- I made this after my wireless receiver died and I had nothing to play. On stream, I asked whether to play gmod or make a song and gmod wouldn't launch so I started making this. Found out how to do a few new things in flstudio while making this song.

I tend to use the harmonic minor scale when constructing my songs. The scale in nightlight is a very simple ascending scale composed from it. I don't think I used the same progression as nightlight in this one though although I could be mistaken.

Dude, what plugins are you using in FL Studio to make the sounds for these songs? Do you use Sytrus, Rapture, Poizone, or something else?

It's funny how these customs never go above 3999 notes in them
are all the songs u make only on expert or are they on all diffiulty levels
The sixth note doesn't force hopo in GH3. It flips its status. I've heard different for rock band but I am positive that it flips the status in GH3. A strum becomes a hopo and a hopo becomes a strum.
I typically only use bots if I'm trying to show off a coop chart or I'm lazy. I didn't have another person on hand so I just used a bot.
I enjoyed watching and listening this video.
I don't think anyone would be able to hit the 30nps chimneys at 2:48 since you have no time to get your tapping hand over there because of the part before it. I won't rule it as impossible though.
Also, like frigz said, the part at 1:09 is also 30nps fretting. You'd have to get lucky abusing the window to get it.

It would be 1/12 notes but that's not how I did it. If I did it that way, the bpm would have been horribly distorted. Also notice how I was able to not force them on the right at parts.
There's a sixth note that flips a note's hopo status but it's not something for a novice to try as it breaks the chart after it's done.

That wasn't tempo changing. I read gamezelda's info on gh3's engine a while ago. A sixth note, one after orange will flip the note's hopo status. I simply added these sixth notes via notepad. After doing this to a chart though, feedback will crash when trying to render that note.
He couldn't and unless I see him hit every section, I won't believe that he can. The strumming in the rhythm solo reaches 30 nps and becomes completely random. There's also multiple 30nps parts in this song.

2:58 and 3:48 sound like they should be in zelda games as the boss musc
if if you put notes before 0 seconds the game crashes when it reaches 4k total, even though those notes are never seen or even hittable by the bot. Sidney tried a lot of things to get 4k+ on DNA but it didn't work out.
The ending is fucking creepy kinda reminds me of a nightmare on elm street for some reason...
