Seems most cats follow the same pattern. Eating it like crazy, then wanting to roll in it. And then comes the half-hearted wrasslin'! I LOVE and miss my kitties but my eyes itch just from watching this. And bless you, dear human, for not putting it in a bowl or on a plate but on the floor so they can rub and roll in it. I always put a sheet down on the carpet and weighted the corners.
Btw--what a lovely variety of cats! All shapes and sizes! My last two were litter mates and almost identical at first glance. Everything about them was different. Body shape, size, head shape, bone structure (she was bird-boned and he had heavy, thick bones), even their fur was completely different. Personalities, too--she was as catty as they come, and a tease and her brother thought he was a big, sweet puppy all his life. They both LOVED catnip!

Safari Kitty has been raptly watching your crew playing in the catnip. I keep a half-gallon Mason jar half-filled with nip, leaving room to inject and super-charge a bunch of toys, including a tiny Mr. Bill from Farm and Fleet and various fuzzy Dollar Tree toys. Whatever toy I pull out ends up being thoroughly cleaned before it returns to the jar. We love watching your gang, including the cleanup crew, lovely, gentle Creesha!
It's funny: Every time the cats look like they're about to fight the dog barks and they forget what they were about to do and go back to playing and eating the catnip.
...then one of the cats reveal themselves to be an obnoxious drunk as Creecia enters the room, saying: Hay, YOUR A DOG! ...GET OUT! THIS IS A CATS ONLY PARTY!!!

After eating it, they will take a long nap... If you have cats with no catnip gene, try Silverleaf. Stronger than catnip, some like it better. They are so happy on the "herb"
That's the same catnip that I use but I draw a line across the portion of the kitchen floor so that my cats are not fighting for the exact same spot. Also crumbling it up with your fingers seems to activate it more
Oh i love Grizz ! I had a Russian Blue named Mika. She LOVED catnip and would roll in it til her whole body was covered in it. Lol must be a RB thing! ❤ After she was good and stoned she'd run around the room and even up onto the walls about 100 mph 😃

Adorable party. I use socks. Put the cat nip in the toe and tie it off...trim off excess material. Then they can wrestle and play games and no clean up. Plus I don't like them to eat too much of it.
have you ever given them a bunch of catnip then dimmed the lights brought them back up red and you're dressed as a large cat and you sprint after each of them on all fours while they're tripping. i would.
You realize when you're asleep, they're going to be putting it in baggies and selling it on street corners, right ?? They'll be on wanted posters in post offices from coast to coast....... Oh well, they're your kids......good luck.
