It’s from a brand called The Henna Guys. It’s not available on Amazon but you can get it directly from their website.

You’re totally using the curl wand incorrectly. It grabs your hair and wraps it around the wand from the bottom; thus the air-“wrap”. Watch some other reviews - they show it correctly.
Does it get hot
It get’s hot enough to dry and style the hair. On High heat it reaches around (194°F), and on Low heat it reaches around (140°F). The highest it reaches is 302°F degrees because it has a heat control technology that measures airflow temperature over 40 times a second to keep the temperature under 150°C/302°F.
