Got Lushun and love it. Very high DPM with the 1.7 second base reload. Low detection is nice. High skill floor due to lack of smoke, long cooldown on heal, etc.

Looking forward to this one and it will help me learning to swap to AP when Im in a DD. I'm way too lazy to remember that and losing out on potential damage that way but this ship you really have to in order to work it well.

This thing has a good AP DPM for DD. And short fuse on top of that. Low detection and heal, it's going to be tough one to fight in a DD
she has standard DD fuse delay 0.01s, only Druid has 0.005s
nor has low fuse activation threshold of 100mm or Druid
She'll pop just as good as all the others lol

I just got mine today, and if you can play the Halland, you'll do ok here. I buffed my torps since the guns were already pretty awesome, and that rounded out the ship.
OK you got me to change my mind, I will grind this boat. Off to the salt mines now.

Finally unlocked this ship and got to play my first game.
assisted in killing 2 dds and a cruiser before a sub rushed me, stood outside my range and just perma spotted me
Nevsky is going to eat this thing alive then use it's gun barrels as toothpicks....
Not an easy grind with just the starter pack, but that's what I did. I think this ship will have some awesome bloody DD duels against other Gunboats.

I kinda like the “boring” camo. I like that clean look with the hull numbers. I play WoWS legends now after a few years on PC because I’ve always been an Xbox player and was running WOWS on a laptop but I can’t miss a sealord video even though we’ll get this ship in 3 years if ever

First off, in what ship?
Second, dispersion has been wonky for a very long time.
Third, how's your in-game Karma? I have this theory and it's kinda tin foil hat territory, but...... given WarGambling's love of hidden stats and everything RNG, like random module hp, I kinda think dispersion and pen is tied to in-game Karma.
It's been a few ships, but the miss on VT was in an Alaska B.

Starter pack at the start is a better bargain but you're basically saying you can get THIS many added phases. Individual phases at the end is more expensive overall but if you're not close it's not required.

@@monkeyrater You need at least an extra 5 phases. The starter pack is cheaper than 5 individual phases, but can ONLY be bought at the start. It's saying "I think these extra phases are all I'll need". If you're right, it's cheaper that way. If you're wrong, you need to buy more phases or not get the ship. If you don't buy the starter pack, it's more expensive, but you're not out anything if you decide not to finish the ship.
No comparison with the Neustrashimy????? You could try incoming fire alert for one point. Maybe bad AA is Ok since it seems no one can shoot down aircraft before they get their attack off. (I know WG, protect the CV at all costs)
I just wait and buy the required levels if I make it there. Not gonna buy something and then have life interfere and I can’t grind it out.

I’d take the range instead of reload in slot 6 to take advantage of the gun ballistics. Push you are a dd hunter so want fast turret traverse.
Captain I’d not take super, it’s very unlikely you will get any benefit from last charge. Pretty much a waste. Take BFT to have some extra dpm.
Yea I stopped taking the reload mod long time ago. The ballistics are so much improved with the range mod its silly getting anything else. Though I don't think its the range itself that helps the dispersion. I really think there is a background algorithm to counter-balance reload buffing. So were seeing a background nerf to dispersion on the reload mod that makes the range mod seem more accurate.
No. You build range on captain (4 point skill - AFT) and reload mode in ship modules. Gun traverse speed is 10s and turrets turn 360- degree so you dont need guns traverse speed skill at all. Never ever use range mode on DDs except maybe now italian hight tier dds.

I’m very hesitant to spend the money to finish the grinds. The only ship I’ve gotten so far is the Hizen. I wish I got the Schroder, maybe I’ll say screw it and get this one.
If you do, I hate playing DD's generally and yet I love playing this thing even if I don't do well a game.
Cheapest way is to buy the "pack of 5" for 7,000 doubs at the beginning rather than 5 @ 1,950 at the end.

This boat is similar to how Loyang is, but at T10.
Only if we ignore the fact that you can't trap enemy DDs in your smoke/hydro combo because Lushun doesn't have a smoke and has a completely different playstyle.
I'd rather compare it to Fenyang than Loyang.

if you check stats side by side, this is a literal clone of neustrashimy with minimum of tweaks they could do to still pretend it's a different ship. better reload, different concealment plus AA small/mid guns are better, and consumables slightly different, but otherwise same speed/turn radius/torps (neustra not deepwater and 1km less but identical otherwise)... agree it will have completely different playstyle now but to me this is an ultimate copypasta. getting it, but i will despise myself for it...
dumbest thing about this ship is that even though main turrets are neustra's on steroids with less than half reload, when working as AA these have exactly the same stats on both ships. well, unless wargaming wiki is wrong, someone with this ship already obtained might waht to check

This thing has the same dpm as a Hayate. Not even close to "god"
Won't support the channel because you throw money to a game which doesn't qualify as good product, frankly none of the WG games isn't worth your hard earned money.
