  • Hecate is the Goddess of Witches. That possibly makes her the only ancient Goddess that is still worshipped. And finding a Temple from her early days is even more special. Come join me on my journey along Turkey's ancient cities.

I wish I could visit the temple myself. ❤ thank you for sharing, and yes I am one of her witches. May Hecate give you many blessings.

They might do that at some point but at the moment all funding goes to the earthquake areas

She was Goddess of so much more than just witches. It's hard to find a good walkthrough of Lagina...thanks for showing us! 🙂

Thanks for watching and you are right. But I just walk around like any other tourist. I don't aim to teach.

Nic informativ Video as everytime. Since my last visit there obviously a lot of excavation (and restauration) work has been done there. In Lagina (as at Stratonicea theater) traces of earthquakes could have be seen - I hope also after restauration...😬

It's always great to see a place back after they worked on it. Glad you liked it.

I find it very NON COINCIDENTAL that you have your dog with you. Hecate or Hekket traveled with her dogs through the night as she weaved her magic and did her work at crossroads and protecting those that left offerings or prayers...Magic isn't good or bad but, beware she is the judge...she see past, present and future....she holds the key to secrets.

Correct and if I remember well she had big black dogs.
