BORN with type III osteogenesis imperfecta - otherwise known as brittle bone disease - Haley Lapkin has broken around 200 bones in her lifetime. Haley, who is just 2ft 10" tall, told Barcroft TV: “I have probably one of the most severe cases of brittle bone disease”. In 2009, Haley met her wife Angie on an online dating site. The couple were in a long-distance relationship for about a year before they decided to meet. “Our first visit together, it just felt like a connection” explained Haley. Soon after that, Angie moved in with Haley.

I know her dad has got to be one happy and relieved parent. As a mother of a special needs child I know how it feels to worry what’s going to happen with your child when we die so I know her dad worries a lot less because he now knows that if something happens to him she has someone that will take care of her support her and be there for her, and that is a huge relief!!!
I am in so much distress as I need sleeping pills to sleep my special needs daughter is 28 so very scared she will be left alone she is like Haley 🥰🤗🙏

You know some of these stories are a little too far fetched but this one i really feel is a genuine real love for each other and in my opinion they are both adorable and well matched. Everybody wants to be loved. No matter your color, size, ethinicity, sexual preference, gender, dissabilities. Everybody needs a genuine love like theirs. Good for them. I met my man online and it's working really well so far. He's got a spinal cord injury and I suffer from disabilities myself. Neither of us is a cat fish or creep. We are just glad that found eachother. I put another message online before and took it down because of people saying that we are wrong for meeting online. Both of us are well aware of risks such as rapists, catfish and scammers etc. both of us have been hurt in the past and are both extremely honest with eachother. Please do not judge because each situation is different. Myself and other family members met people online and it's worked for them.

I worry all the time just like Hayley does about my wife leaving me. We are also a samesex couple and I am in a wheelchair and on home oxygen. She is able bodied and I worry all the time she would get fed up with needing to help me everyday.
We started our youtube channel a little over a year ago to show people who maybe disabled that there is someone out there for everyone and to not give up hope. Just because your disabled, doesnt mean your unable!!
Don't let this thought of her leaving you over shadow the love you have for each other. Mostly our own fear is our worst enemy.

47 year old fellow bendy zebra here! I am also in a wheelchair, need oxygen at night and am tpn iv feed dependent due to total gut dysmotility- it sucks but I always try and remember that after a terrible day a good one will follow at some point. Sending you some spoons 😊😊
