‘Bad decision’: Greg Sheridan slams Australia’s vote for Palestinian UN membership

- The Australian Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says it was a “very bad decision” for Australia to participate in a vote in favour of Palestine's UN membership.
Foreign Minister Penny Wong says the “rejection of Hamas” is one of the reasons why Australia voted in favour of supporting a bid for Palestine to become a member of the UN.
“It divides Australia; Muslim vs Jew,” Mr Sheridan told Sky News Australia.
“There is no doubt now Labor supports the Muslim critique of Israel.”

The vast majority of countries recognise Taiwan as part of China. You can find a map of Palestine attached to United Nations Resolution 181.

All the Palestinian authorities have to do is recognize Israel for a two-state solution to work. That has been pushed forward since 1948. We should not be supporting Hamas.
look at the land the germany has lost when they started WW1 and WW2. In the history of Israel look at the land that was lost when the arabs states started the wars (as what happens in war). The only way to Save Palestinian lives is to remove Hamas, and rather have a government that resorts to diplomacy instead of suicide bomber and out right terror attacks. Its hamas that is responsible for its own citizens.

Apparently Greg Sheridan hasn't yet discovered the anti ethnic cleansing critique of Israel.
I've never voted Labor because I do not think people with a union background have an understanding of how to manage a country & all that entails, however I have always tried to keep an open mind regarding politics which is after all a difficult discipline to understand from the average Aussie's point of view. This latest decision by Albanese shows his true colours, he is an islamist, he has consorted with them, as evidenced by the video posts on here from his past & maybe is even being paid by them but for whatever reason he has no place in Australian government with his approval of this absurd notion that a bunch of criminal barbarian monsters have the right to a state of their own in the world when they have proven their destructive intent to resort to medieval barbarism.

The UN, Aid Agencies and foreign Governments after 2005 gave the Palestinians more money than was given to rebuild Europe per capita after World War 2. They took that money and turned it into missiles to fire at Israel (quite literally tearing up water pipes and repurposing agricultural fertilisers to do so). If you think that deserves a seat at the UN then you are probably right as the civil nature of that Organisation is beyond repair (which has a lot to do with some of it's member states).
