I wish current designers will take note of how a collection can be done with two colors and endless possibilities with shape and texture! This collection was brilliant and for once I really wanted to own something again. Bravo to the Valentino design team for creating such works of art with simplicity and grace. May the rest of the fashion world follow your lead.

It looks good on the runway but in reality its hard to sell. These days is all about street fashion. Thats why gucci balenciaga etc are top 5 brand people buy the most
I love how a single designer can meditate on a concept and come up with such a delightful collection! The pink fashions are so chic, romantic, and one of a kind. Also, the color of pink was a brilliant choice that ,IMHO, may spark a pink trend. And, I am blown away by the black fashions! Black is my favorite color and I've been able to shop my closet (I only buy classic designer items in black so the garment never goes out of style-I have a black Donna Karen coat that I have worn since the 90's- it flares below my knees and has a built in scarf and it is always in style) and I'm so glad Black is here for a minute anyway! I loved the entire collection and presentation!👗

The clothes, according to me, are weird. But the designer did a brilliant thing hiring Kristy McNemany. At 57 she did a great job! I think she looks better now than she looked 30 years ago.
Every male designer needs to walk the catwalk in ludicrous platform shoes wearing oversized pants and full length skirts/dress, oh and sheer pants displaying their junk.
Well, only the female models were wearing these "ludicrous" (but quite beautiful, in my view) platform shoes on the catwalk - the male models were in comfortable flat shoes, anyway...
So, where IS Valentino in this Valentino collection? Brands evolve but this is a very liberal interpretation of the brand and that's being generous. A few pieces here and there are included albeit strongly reinterpreted to the point of almost disassociation with the brand. If I follow a brand is because I came to know and like it through its original concept.
