I've been following this situation since January and I was literally waiting for the news to talk about the virus but they would not stop reporting on Kobe. Some of us actually knew how bad this would get, but everyone kept calling us crazy.
Same!! I would wake up in the middle of the night to feed my newborn in January and saw the news of it starting in China. I remember asking ny friend if she heard of the coronavirus and she said no. And now look at us all. The whole wide world is in this together. I just hope this is over soon 😢

It is pretty intense everything going on. The locust infestation in Africa, the corona virus also. Try not to panic. As you said, pray and remember God doesn’t give us a spirit of fear. Be mindful of others when shopping just getting what you need. It’s gonna be ok 🙂🙏🏼

Thank you to all the people who are working so hard to keep society functioning, all the healthcare workers, people working at grocery stores, people delivering the mail, and so many more. Thank you to everyone who is working from home because as someone with a chronic illness I really appreciate people following the recommendations to self-quarantine and socially distance.
I'm a graduate student in public health and all our classes switched to online and the professors have had to change their entire curriculum in 2 days for the rest of the semester. Some people - I don't know how many - have been extremely unfair to the professors, literally bullying a professor into giving everyone a 100 on the exam even though he already made it an open notes test for everyone. I sent him a little thank you message and he appreciated it so much, because we're all going through it right now and really need to be there for each other through this (and all the time, tbh).
Anyway, I'm going to try to make this look tomorrow because the Mint to Be palette is so cute and I'm going to try and be cute for my dog lol.

Being a mom I’m even more scared about everything going on. It’s not a good feeling especially since I got laid off Tuesday. It’s such a stressful year already 😭 I’ve been praying like crazy not only for myself and my little family but for everyone! I pray this all is over soon. Through this time it has been really tough for me to absorb all that is happening. Of course I am not one of those people who remain ignorant and keep going out, but I wish that we weren’t having to quarantine. I feel for anyone who was supposed to have an important year this year, such as a wedding, anniversary, graduation, etc. I am a high school senior and it has been tough to process that this year, which was supposed to be the best of my high school years, has been the worst. I may not get to experience the graduation ceremony, getting to pick a valedictorian, prom, or anything that goes along with senior year. Thank you for addressing your feelings about all of this. Anyone who is also feeling this way, maybe it will make them feel better that they aren’t alone in their bad feeling.

First, you look extra beautiful today. Second, loved the first portion of this video and hearing you talk a little about what's going on. It's super hard for everyone. My husband is out of work bc hes a server and I've been a stay at home mom for 10 years. On top of the financial stress and trying to figure out what we do now, my kids are obviously home and possibly for the remainder of the school year, and I'm not a teacher..... I cant always help and dont know all the right answers! You would think I have nothing but time right now to sit and help my kids with their work, but I actually dont have the time. I've always appreciated teachers, no doubt, but even more so now that I have to do this myself on top of everything else. Anyway, just venting. I appreciate your video. My positive thoughts are with everyone else out there out of work with no income like my family, and also those who have to be out there working in this craziness and scariness, whether it be so the rest of us can have food etc, or to help save others lives. 🙏♥️

I work at a grocery store in Canada, I work in a bakery department and my days for the past week have been rollercoaster to say the least. Chaos. Food and supplies dwindling, panicked and impatient people. My days start at 5am and they end at like 7pm. I feel like I’m in a horror movie but it’s real life. thanks for the cute video, took my mind off the chaos for a minute 😘 xo.

I feel the same way Karen. I watched the most recent la platica episode with you and Sebas and we’ve experienced the same things too. Everything is sold out at local supermarkets and drug stores. All universities in Ontario have cancelled classes for the remainder of the semester. And EVERYTHING in Toronto is closed. Malls, restaurants, most grocery stores, etc. It’s crazy and really overwhelming how everything is at a pause right now. I appreciate the appreciation you show to everyone who is still working right now, especially nurses, doctors and paramedics. Sending you and everyone else good health and happiness. Thank you for this. CZcams I think will be most peoples escape platform. The news is getting more scary and depressing by the hour. As a stay at home mom/wife I thought I was used to being home but the part that’s rough now is that now I don’t have the option of going out. So that’s really taking a mental toll. As much as there is a shut down ( I’m in NYC) and I have my kids home I’m still constantly more worried because being the wife of a first responder does not allow for him to ever ride it out at home, If anything we see less of him as they extend hours and take days off away. But I’m trying to keep it together to provide a sense of calm and trying to maintain a schedule to have a sense of normalcy. I’ll be looking forward to more content and just stepping away from our reality even if it’s for a little while. Take care and be safe and healthy.

First of all thank you Karen and Sebas for just being you and being our friends. Because that's what it feels like. You are amazing genuine people. This is a difficult time. But like you said it feels like we aren't alone and people are coming together. Iam a cashier at a supermarket and let me tell you, it's been mentally draining. But when a customer shows gratitude and appreciation it makes it all worth it. I'm glad people are able to come in and buy there groceries and find what they need. It makes me happy to see them happy and at ease. Muchos besos. Keep up the uploading I know it helps out a lot. A little escape is always great. I hope it feels the same for you.
Yes! I can relate sooo hard! It’s tough being in this situation and see how crazyyyy the world is getting.. it’s very scary. Luckily some of us are able to work from home. I have a son and I’m so glad I can be home with him and trying to keep calm and be socially distant to help prevent the spend of the virus. I hope this ends soon. It’s been tough... I’m an infant and toddlers teacher and trying to advocate for learning and development through online learning has been tough. I’m also a dual masters degree student and so everything is online. My days have extended to be able to support the parents of the kiddos in my classroom and not have them alone on top of my schoolwork (3 days of classes 4 classes) and my personal life. I pray for all the parents and soon to be parents , teachers, medical personnel, social workers and everyone who is trying to help others ... remember to be kind to each other.
