I'm 36 I loved harder when I was a teenager than I do now. Sometimes you become jaded and everyday life gets in the way but when you're a teenager your whole being is consumed by the other person. When I got my heart broke as a teenager I thought I would die now not so much. My friend and I were talking about this the other day and she feels the same way. She said she can remember when she wanted every waking minute to be spent with her love when she was a teenager and wanted to know everything about them what their favorite color was favorite food and now she said she really doesn't have time or care enough to want to know someone on that level. I keep waiting for that wave of emotion to come back and it never does. If I could feel again like feel as strongly as I did as a teenager that would be great. But I know anytime I have my heart broke as an adult it's going to go away I'll get over it. I don't feel that tingling wave of emotions that I did as a kid.
