I have celiac disease and DH. Gluten is one type of "lectin". After staying away from gluten, wheat, oats, barley and all the things you mentioned in this video, I still had flareups. I found out that many nightshades had lectins. Once I stayed away from that, I got much better. Flare-ups were much less.
Also, gluten is in many products like shampoos and bodywashes...those kind of products. People need to know this. I also stay away from grains like corn. That caused huge flareups for me. Listen to the patient who has the disease because they live with it.

Not sure why I watched this since I have Celiac Disease, lol. Something interesting is the absence of gastrointestinal symptoms before diagnosis, or "silent Celiac" as dubbed in the community. I had no symptoms of any food intolerance. I discovered I had Celiac Disease when I got tested for a suspected iron deficiency. We weren't sure why I was deficient, so he ran the blood panel and yup, super high results lol. This actually happens a lot.

I can certainly understand the frustration one with Celiac may have just trying to survive. But, does X'ing out of so many foods cause a psychological conditioning of needing to be RIGHT and others WRONG? Just asking..

Iron deficiency can be caused by a number of disorders… so it is important to talk to your provider about what can be causing this in your case.
