- Independent MLA from the Imphal valley Sapam Nishikant today took a veiled dig at the N Biren Singh Government in the state, stating that there have been flaws in the administration. Taking part in a mega peace rally in Imphal organsied by the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity or the COCOMI, Keisamthong MLA, Sapam Nishikant said that the strife has been going on for too long and Chief Minister N Biren Singh will be the right person to spell out the reason for it.

All Indians have the freedom to live in any part of India but that will not make them an indigenous part of that place. So I see some Kuki people claiming that they are indigenous to this state and that state etc which is not possible because a Naga cannot be indigenous to Mizoram just because he lives in Mizoram. That Naga will and always be indigenous to Nagaland or his village. So that's the thing.

During this ethnic cleaning War of BJP at the Centre and Biren led war in Manipur i came to know how communal was this man, very different from his appearance. Before the war i thought he was being human, educated and peace loving person with his Editorial News Paper called Sangai Express. Later even News office was filled with BJP pictures then comes war, then he started spreading venoms, spreading communalism against particular community. He may try to say good things or neutrality but he already disclosed who he is in this war.
NRC should implement in all north east states,not only in Manipur.

India got independence on 1947. But manipur sign merger agreement on 1949. Manipur was a soverign contry for 2 yrs. Manipur have it's own Constitution before india have it's Constitution. So Manipur just want respect. We were merge as a kingdom.
What's wrong in Meetei/meitei is that all the Fund allotted for Hill's are used up in Imphal... Greediness and dictatorship need to Stop... And Kuki also stay in Churchandpur.. Don't try to grab land here and there if u settle which can leads to Disaster for ur tribe.. Simple solution
