You are not only doing a great job for your family, society and Mother Nature but you are a great inspiration to many like us...there are plenty of people who upload the videos of their farm but I eagerly wait for the videos you upload. I also have left my job in insurance sector to do farming but it’s too amazing to see that you are doing both jobs simultaneously..Salute to you Ma’am.

If land isn't large enough. Can deep wells serve the purpose of storing water & enhancing underground water reserves?
Of course. Thats how it was in olden time na .
You should grow lotus in ponds
Is there any Indian website of native plants...I stay pratapgarh district.u. p. State....M in love for aananda permaculture.... currently working in Mumbai....keep guiding us...thnk u.
How did you manage the water storage, water being not drunk by earth?
We want the water to be drunk by the earth! that means more underground water for our trees and crops!!
I wants to grow nature loving native plants there...to sute there condition....pls suggest some information...where to get information for tht plants
you can ask the locals living in that area maybe, or research
hi which area you stay
Can u tell more about the permaculture practice in one acre land? I am from Bangalore but I don't have much land. Land is distributed not in one place.
And also about backyard farming in house.
Thank you
Do ask some specific questions, we will try to answer them
@@farmaanandaa in one acre land can, without taking labour help how can we do permaculture and sustain? I followed Ur guidance so want to know about farming in one acre land. We have a labour problem here in my place.
How often you used to visit the farm when you were at mumbai ?
Once in 6 weeks
Do the principles of permaculture remain the same on one acre of plot.i mean one needs to build ponds etc.
Yes they remain the same.
How did you create your pond. Was it lined by plastic
No, its lined with s coir liner
How do you use the water that you capture?
it seeps into the ground raising our water table, providing nourishment to our 4000+ trees! We are blessed with every drop that comes into our land
What about mosquitoes? Don't they breed on stagnant water?
Not if you have toads and frogs eating their larvae
What is the size of ur property? We have rain water flowing on our lands, we have 12 acres, how much big our pond needs to be? Please help.
We r starting a farm.
PLease read about water management in our blogs on www.aanandaa.com.
lots of love ♥️ from Pakistan
Inspired by your beautiful farm
I was planning to practice permaculture on a 2 acre land
When I was designing the land on a piece of paper I got a bit confused about the paths like is there just a path around the borders of your land ? Or you have more like just can you explain how you access to the whole land like is there more tracks ?
There is a central walking path, and there are smaller paths originating from that to reach all parts of the farm - think of it as the pattern of a tree, or the veins of a leaf. hope this helps, do follow our journey and share our videos if you like them.
Thanks alot mam ❤️
I am curious to know how you manage to save the produce from monkeys etc...
I think we should give there fair share, that is how we can maintain bio diversity.
I apologise, If I said anything wrong, after all I don't have any practical knowledge, I am just learning about permaculture.
And to family
Thanks
