VD has a very poor diction. He can't do different dialects, he can only do Telangana well. Secondly, he must identify the reason for the negativity created, not because he has come all the way without support or something.
A hard to digest truth is that, he was considerably well off since the beginning and definitely not a rags to riches story.
In my opinion rather than picking stories that glorify him, he must do roles where the characters that hook him to the story, because at the end of the day, only a good story will give us a good character (eg. virupaksha for SDT and Jersey for Nani).
Repeatedly promoting himself as some star and having a The tagline, is purely an ego boost, as he has not reached such heights yet.....
I really like the guy and wish the best for him.... I hope he does well in the future.

There are so many problems with VD. He cannot act in any other slang and his body language is same across all the movies. Moreover he projects himself as a star.
