My buddy snuck his dad's 87 IROC out and we took in cruising Main St. one night when we were in high school. He did the most epic burnout. Everybody was yelling and cheering. Even the cop that made him pull over told him it was a pretty awesome smoke show, as he was writing him his ticket.
I would trade my wife for this car!! 🤣🤣🤣
I had a white and gold one. It was a great car. Rode great, handled great, Had great power for 1987. It also was very very reliable. I drove it for 6 years.
You know you're old when your first car shows up on a classic car video.
I worked at a Chev dealership in 1987 I bought a 87 camaro rs 305 v8 with a 5 speed manual. it was fun wish I kept it
I was fortunate to own a 1992 Firebird Formula 350. If you wanted a fast musclecar, this was the setup to get.
If you ever owned a iroc your drooling 🤤 right now
The damn car looks better than factory sold
I worked my ass off to buy red 87 t-top 350 in the late 80's that I still own today. Kept it through some good times and some bad times. It looks as good as this car and only has 29000 miles on it. Now that I am in my 50's it brings back memories from my 20's with a new thrill of 12 psi Procharger. Glad I keep. LUCKY I didn't wreck it!!
Takes me back to the good old heyday of high school in the 80s.
I had a black and silver 5.7 TPI IROC back in '06 as a second car only mine had a black interior. Picked it up for $2,000, it needed a few minor repairs but she hauled ass! That extra 45 cubic inches and 15 extra HP from my '85 5.0 TPI made all the difference. They both handled like slot cars.
That's the best looking IROC I've ever seen.
Nice clean example. Any else notice, no seat belt and rolling through stop sign.... that's exactly the way this car was driven back in it's day.. just seems right.
Never EVER seen one in perfect condition. 😮
Lighting & paint looks incredible
My brother had the red 87 Iroc....tee top... so sweet.... had the wheels for a few weeks on my 85 S10 with 400SB......
This is a real classic car between 87 and 90. the car was putyi g out 230 to 245 Horse power they ran Stock quarter mile times between 1470 to 1420s all day. once the 5.7 liter motor came out they were able 2 deal with the 87 to 92 5.0 Fuel injected 5 speed Mustangs. I owned a 87 Buick Grand National as long as my stock turbo was cooled off or in cold weather. all 3 of those cars were within one or 2 car lenths of each other, when we were racing at the Track or Street Racing.
That is an amazingly mint IROC!
She sure brings back memories.
i have one 1987 its black and gold
Good year I graduated from high school in 1987
The car is fun to drive and own.
