As a Child Sexual abuse survivor what Monique did was not just wrong on so many levels but despicable… It was triggering an I feel that you don’t bring up someone’s trauma… Some ppl gotta re-live that moment especially if you’ve experienced that it’s painful . At this point I’ve lost all respect for Monique she needs to take several seats an heal whatever demons she’s battling . God & Therapy helped me get thru my Childhood trauma …. Now don’t get me wrong it’s affected me til this day an I’ve even contemplated suicide an battle with Clinical Depression/Anxiety, CPTSD but I’m determined to keep on fighting 🥊 for my Life & peace of mind

Mo'Nique claims to also be a survivor so this low, callous behaviour towards another survivor is perplexing. Oprah interviewing her abuser (brother) despite her revelation of what their relationship was like and her objection to the interview is 1 of her writs against Oprah. Such a low, spiteful, dirty act to do this to another survivor.

Many a times if you watch her videos she invites people she has issues with to have a conversation with. Now the reason why she wants it in public is because the issue was already brought to her in public and that way no one can say they didn’t say things that the whole world clearly heard them say.
The sad thing is, DL initially didn't want to work with her for this very reason, but he convinced himself to work with her after being pursuaded by friends and the promoter to give her a chance. Now DL is regretting his decision and rightfully so; he blames himself for not sticking with his gut feelings. He was fully done with the matter until Monique came out with this disgusting past trauma about his daughter. She showed a side of her that fully encapsulates what kind of person she really is and it provides an insight of how diabolical and evil minded she really is. We were so quick to side with her on everything she bought out in the open in the past. But, we did so without hearing the sides of the opposite parties. When she first blasted DL on stage and gave her side of the sequence of events a lot of people was sticking up for her. It wasn't until we heard DL's side of the story and most people were convinced that his version of the sequence made more sense. Now she has put a lot of us in a position of second guessing ourselves of taking her words at face value in the past may not have been right, because we never got to hear the other sides point of view. Whether her past claims were legitimate is neither here or there. It's her current disgusting action that is at the forefront and I don't think she can come back from this.
I question the manhood of her so called Daddy. If she ran this idea of bringing up DL's daughter past trauma by him and he was okay with it, he is not a real man. There's plenty of folks that have a problem with Mo'nique, and there's plenty of folks who have a problem with DL. At the end of the day, we as a community need to decide whether we are just interested in making this a popularity contest, . . . . . OR if we are actually interested in holding EVERYONE [DL and Mo'nique alike] to the same standards we claim to uphold.
If degrading each others' spouses is off-limits. . .and If commenting on each others' family members is off-limits. . . and if spreading lies/untruths about each other is inappropriate. . . . The first thing he [and his radio staff] did was come for her husband's sexuality during a "friendly" radio interview and then refused to pull it from airing until her lawyer intervened. He then did a mini tour where he continued to trashed her and her husband in his comedy club standup sets [many which have been scrubbed from the web since Mo'Nique's rant went viral]. He's repeatedly called Mo'Nique and her husband's credibility into question regarding their business disputes with Netflix, Oprah, Tyler Perry and Lee Daniels without having any of the facts. Everyone is entitled to their opinions--but drawing conclusions about someone's business dealings without first-hand involvement or knowing any of the terms is just shady and reckless.
The incident she tried to stick in his face happened with a same-age boy (13) that was friends with his daughter, NOT a grown man who was friends with D.L. like Mo’Nique so ignorantly tried to spin it. What a demented, wicked thing to try to do to another human being. How can anyone still support her under these circumstances?
DL Hughley is the one who said it was one of his friends and someone he was close to, he never said it was his child's friend or a little kid. I honestly believe he is lying to save face.

This situation could have been handled differently for sure. With that said, people have the right to speak their mind and say what they want to say. However, you cannot control how others respond to what is said. It seems like Monique is happy to deal with any backlash from her comments and doesn’t care about the impact her behavior has on her career going forward.
So it seems. I'm curious to know if she'll ever reach a point where she may feel it best, for her safety and well being, to stay completely quiet.

D.L wasn’t there that day they did the interview and he didn’t even air that part about the jokes. So we wouldn’t even had known if she didn’t bring it up. She says he was talking about her and he was commenting on business part of the issues of beef with Tyler Perry. Everyone was commenting on it, why would she take that personal. Her issues are non factors at this point.
