CoF IS TRASH AND I HATE IT CURRENTLY: Is Circle of Fortune any Good?

Imagine thinking that CoF is as good as MG to begin with... CoF you get loot from only yourself, one person, meanwhile in MG you essentially have every single person in MG farming for you and putting gear you might need on the auction house. How could that ever be better than MG? It cant. But thats the whole damn point of CoF. To do it yourself. Farm your own shit. Solo self found. If CoF was as good as MG then no one would play MG because you wouldnt have to interact with the shitty UI and UX of MG. And it would be as boring as MG since it would just be gifting perfect gear to you.
I played two characters this cycle. My first I played MG and holy shit was it boring as all fuck. I didnt look at any gear unless it pinged on my filter signaling it might be worth something, sold enough to buy whatever the fuck I wanted, played for about 30 minutes with very good gear, got bored and made a new character to play CoF. Still currently enjoying min maxing this character a few weeks later.
Play what you want but here's the truth for anyone who reads this. If you want to play a gold farming simulator on easy mode for a few days, play MG. If you want to engage with the systems, have meaningful progression and actually play the game longer than a few days then play CoF.
Ye without pinnacle content having gear is somewhat like having a Lamborghini but not being able to go fast cause of 50 miles an hour speed limit. End game right now is lacking very hard, can't really flex much with it
I did the opposite. CoF to 10. Swapped to mg like two weeks ago and am lv 9. I like to play a lot of builds so the switch has been nice. Also if I want runes or creation I just go on a CoF character
I very often slam T7 exalted items with desired T7 mod to get space for mods that I want and I often fail removing the T7 one. It doesnt really matter tho cuz I know I will get it again bcs of COF. In MG you are mostly dependent on other ppl and meta, if you are unlucky you wont get much gold in MG and COF gives u luck basically for free.
push corruption higher, amount and quality of items will drastically improve the higher you get
From my understanding CoF does not scale with corruption. You just get more reward drops and those roll randomly. You could push corruption higher on MG and get the same results.
just push your corruption and you will get better loot. cof benefits:
rank1: 35% chance for double the amount of enemy drops
rank4: 35% higher chance for drops to be exalted
rank6: 100% higher chance for lp
rank8: 25% chance for rares to become exalted
all these count towards enemy drops
you'll be swimming in exalted pretty quickly
You are getting rammed by RNG. I get 3-4 LP items every 20-30 mins. What corruption are you on because that just looks like low level farming. T7 and double exalted drop way more often too.
I am running a none bug exploiting dot ignite warlock. With Tier10 CoF I could likely push 400. Mostly running 75% percentile exalted gear with no Sealed [rng keeps killing me].
If I would have known crafting RNG was going to fork me this hard, I would have picked a build with no or little gear dependency. If I would have picked necromancer, I would not have issue to same degree. In fact I have 3LP items entirely for a golem build. Keeps giving me everything but what I need. Currently running 240 corruption I think. Need to check
@@WeAreViledNationI mean yeah that's fair. I started with a Marksman dot then switched to detonating arrow when I got two blast knives. Farmed with that then got a lucky 2 LP wraithlord helm. Now my Necro is my farmer with around 300 corruption. The loot is great I just ended a 2 hour session with some good double exalted and 3 uniques with 3 LP. Not the greatest Uniques but if they were tradable they go for 5-10mil each depending on market
