my dad died 12 years ago from nose cancer and i had to go through the tough times at age 10. I didnt know he could die bcoz of it or how serious is his sickness until his last breath, until he had gone. I didnt know until then. Since then ive become quite and less cheerful. i was mad at God, why i was so blind to realised he is actually dying but there is nothing i could do, its too late. One day, while i was in my room, there is this little voice inside of me whispered worship more, gave more and have faith bcoz I love to be the backup singer for the church but i wasnt singing wholeheartedly. I do it for fun, i do it bcoz i wanna be famous in the church. By that little voice, that year, i decided to gave my life to God. life has been good, been blessed. Life has its ups and down but i grew stronger with this faith in me and hope dad is smiling seeing me now. P.s They sang it because they were known for their price tag cover.

While in the hospital the doctors called me and said your mum is not doing so good. i started to spend more time with her and taking care of her. eventually she had to be 24 hours on oxygen. My mum passed away 20 January 2009. I love the lord with all my heart. there are days i wished she was around.
I can completely relate to their experience. It is so hard to praise and rejoice in a difficult situation, especially when you don't understand why things are happening. God can and will do it for you. Hallelujah father I praise your holy name. :)

I read some arguments about "relevant" in modern society which then attracts newcomers to the church. But this is a dangerous argument. Where do you draw the line? The things of this world are foolishness to God. So you become relevant to the world and become irrelevant to God?
