Surely competing the big old players like Pajero is a difficult game no doubt, with surely more tweaks and a 3-4 facelifts with more gizmos, I think it'll be almost perfect compact body-on-frame 4wd suv
Also they should increase the production, the waiting time is clearly insane, and this can make a great opportunity for big Japanese manufacturers to deliver their cars quicker

What I see is Mahindra just focuses on Engine reliability & performance but not on making the car user friendly.
Australians love bench seats While Indians like captain seats. They should have made bench seats as standard.
Plus they like flat floor and the seat management is quite bad as it not folds flat as they use these vehicles as a cargo loader too.
Plus, they are not like Toyota. Toyota majorly fixes all the daily user stuff precisely, but Mahindra sells first then decides to do the improvements.
In terms of engine reliability Mahindra will give Toyota a run for it's money but the rest of the car they will poop on floor

But in terms of value for money scorpio n wins the game, of course its lacking some features but its not like that we need those features without those features the car can be driven with absolute no cause. if u have a tight budget, can adjust with those missing features, i would suggest to go with scorpion
