Prannoy, when you have an esteemed panel of "the great minds" (as you rightly put it), offer them the courtesy to finish their point of view before jumping in. Cutting people off when they are in the midst of completing a sentence is rude and bad journalism.

A country where the business houses has only practiced the theory of accumulation of profits and distribution of losses to the public.. Where unethical practice of loot of natural resource is rewarded with economic gratification... where the business communities have grown only as traders but not as entreprenuers.... This country will only rejoice and celebrate mediocracy and be a third world country forever.

I ve lived and worked in cities of South India and Maharastra and based on my experience as a Banker I ve put that comment. Now I ask you, Have you been to Mysore, Vizag, Cochin, Pune, Coimbatore. These are tier 2 cities of South lower in rank than Banglore , Hydrrabad etc but are way ahead in all terms than any city of north, be it standard of living , economy, education, health and cleanliness

The moderator talks way, way too much. He has an agenda that he is not succeeding in promoting in the panel. Here is a lost opportunity to tap brilliant minds of the panel members. Somebody should time the proportion of this 20 minute-segment he's hogged.

Ms Gita why are you protecting cheaper foreign money coming in to India. Where is the level playing field in interest rates and the cost of capital. Indian interest rates 20%.where as interest rates in china, Europe, and Japan are 2%.-3%.secondly why we are protecting indian predatory banks. Does indian banking industry comply to liberalization, WTO. No we are protecting predators to kill Indians and benefit foreigners at the cost of Indian entrepreneurs, industry, farmers, students, startups and home loan borrowers etc. In the process we killed our GDP, PERCAPITA INCOME, MANUFACTURING AND EMPLOYMENT. Resultantly handed over our markets and jobs to Chinese and foreigners. If Indian s get level playing field in interest rates we can achieve double digit growth in GDP PERCAPITA AND EMPLOYMENT. We can covert chinese imports in to domestic manufacturing and use the same infra for grabbing Chinese worldwide exports.
