I still remember the year the Jaguars were created and their first year as part of the NFL. They had who some people thought was the second coming of Steve Young......Mark Brunell. To be honest, they actually had good success during their early years which is why everyone had such high hopes for them, but eventually they crashed back down. I have always had an eye on them, and the Browns, in the hopes that they could pull it back together. The Browns did (hopefully long term too), so I am waiting for the Jaguars to do it too.

He won championships in both his second and fourth year as head coach. I have not always been a fan of Meyer's institutions, but I have always been a fan of Meyer. He is creative, and he trains up great coaches. I imagine that he will do the same at the NFL level. I will always bet on Urban Meyer.

James Robinson seems to have gone unnoticed by anyone who doesn't play fantasy football but he is an absolute stud, plus they have a decent receiving core that has lots of room to grow with Chark, Shenault, Keelan Cole, and Collin Johnson. My only worry about Urban is he’s not used to losing. In the NFL you can go 7-9 (like Washington) and make the playoffs, in college you can only have 1 loss to make the playoffs. He’s going to have to get used to losing and moving on to next week, don’t hold grudges and move on. Your going to lose games in the NFL, the great teams learn from their losses and improve, Urban might have to learn that.

Kyler got stacked, Lock got Gordon, Jeudy, and Fant (he’s just worse than Minshew), Jones has a better WR corps and had Saquon, even Haskins got an okay offense. Jags only got Minshew Tyler Eifert and shipped away all the defense leaders/vets. James Robinson was a “happy accident” they had no idea how good he was gonna be. @@ccboi1311 I'm a Jaguars fan, have been for 15 years. The current team is awful. The only starter caliber players we have currently: Offense: James Robinson, Norwell, Linder, Chark, Sheanualt. Defense: Josh Allen, Henderson (maybe) Chaisson (maybe) Myles Jack, Joe Shobert.
Basically in short terms, you have a promising offense (if Lawrence is good, and we sure up the Oline) and the Defense is extremely lacking. This can be changed quickly this offseason if they are aggressive in Free Agency and make smart draft picks. But the team as it stands, right now in January is bottom of the pack. This is a pre planes deal where owner run off players and tanked. I have no doubt that urban helped in last yrs draft so that he could target an age group build up draft capital get 5 of them on the field ,tank a yr get the qb and then urban appears to have 3 yrs in it when the core has 4 yr invested.
This isnt a sustainable way to di things but its the right way for a college coach and team to make a run for a superbowl with a 3 to 4 yr plan if targeting an age then training and developing them up.
Kahn wants to be the first to move a team to London. Maybe he thinks he can in next 10 yrs taking a superbowl winning team their . He will have to bring back concord flights to do it but hey stranger things have happened lol

Maybe you’re saying he wouldn’t be fired if he’s sucking at his job. Imagine how happy Jets fans would have been if Gase had quit last year, or any of those teams with shit coaches? Him quitting when he’s bad at a job is good for everybody.
Be sensible if he leaves when your team is just starting to get good, that’s a negative because you’d want him to stay. If he leaves when things are getting dicey, that’s a positive because you don’t have to fire him and buyout his contract.
