I remember listening to goblin island the first time im glad the band has gotten the spotlight they deserve
As a newer fan I completely agree. I absolutely loved their last album and I’ve gotten into their previous ones as well
I just really want to hear the snare but I still love them.
I like the part where they made sure the kick triggers worked but left the rest of the drum buss at like, -30db.

I've seen them live, they have mix issues man, couldn't hear the lead guitars at all. I'm definitely seeing them again though
Same with the backup vocals. Clearly two of them singing but you can only hear the main.

Either the crowd consited of a bunch of zombies or they just genuinely took in the glory and epicness of Nekrogoblikon. Well, either way the band didn't take themselves seriously and still put on a top-tier show.
I felt very bad for them because of that but the mix was just so horrible. Busted my ears even though i had worn ear plugs, all you could hear was the drums and nothing else. I was really happy to finally see them live but couldnt really enjoy it even though they would have deserved it.
for the line "time is passing fast" in dressed as goblins im certain i can hear a whistle scream from the backing vocals

Live, the quality was so incredibly bad...
It’s a shame to hear this as at Bloodstock they were one of the bands of the weekend, even came back for an encore

@@PullpinVa that’s good to hear. I know he sat out almost the entire thing. He was there in Chattanooga in June. But he missed a lot of the Death Rager tour.
Seeing the latest shows of Scorpion I can really see why he left. Poor man has fried his vocals. Goes to show why you should really learn proper way of screaming.

Das klingt schon wieder so unausgewogen, macht ja echt dem live-auftritt Konkurrenz :D der hat schon versucht den schlechten Mix durch absurde Lautstärke zu kompensieren, was natürlich nicht erfolgreich war.
Schade, der Mix ist leider nicht gut gelungen. Vom Schlagzeug hört man nur die Bassdrum sonst nix..

Nah this is unfair if you ask me. Saw them at Bloodstock and they were one of the best bands of the weekend. Tent was fully packed and the entire place was going bonkers.
Performance wise his singing was spot on and the sound mix was ace. I honestly think these festival live recordings aren’t always the best.
@@jamesvicary3267 being there in person makes your take less trustworthy tbh. live videos are giving you the raw sound and taking away the loudness and excitement that tint your view of the performance when you're there

Most of us just tried to survive because it was absurdly loud. Not the good loud, but the "it hurts and it sounds like a fkn mess" loud :/
