He would not have won, Shuichi proved everything.
Maki still would've stuck on to Kaito, but Shuichi would've had the rest on his side and he would very much vote him out, thats what his entire journey throughout the game is about.
The murder being unsolvable as stated in the video is false.
Edit: This is not quite true, Shuichi did solve it so its not unsolvable bit he tried to lie for Kaito which Monokuma probably would've sniffed out so Kaito would indeed have 'won'

@@luckygirliroha okay so i hope i can explain this properly but here we go. you know the whole thing is basically the neo world program which is a program developed by future foundation that is meant to "fix" all of our characters. why fix them? bc they're the remnants of despair. so they're connected to the ultimate despair, junko enoshima. they were put into this "danganronpa" neo world simulation by the future foundation so that they feel hope instead of despair. BUT there was 1 person who was not a remnant of despair and that was chiaki aka "the traitor". why? because she is not real :D she is an ai created by future foundation. lets talk abt the reason nagito did all of this. its because he knew they were all remnants of despair (except the traitor) including himself. and since he wanted hope to win more than anything, he thought that all remnants of despair should die, as i've said, including himself too. so he decided that he should create an unsolvable murder, this way they couldn't guess who murdered him. and since the rules go by "if you cant guess who done it you all die". they would die, except the blackened (which is chiaki bc her bomb thing killed nagito while they were trying to open the gate) SOOO thats why he did it :DD but obviously it didnt work bc chiaki told them that she was the traitor, so she got executed :(((((

    • @Pillssss
      @Pillssss Před rokem +181

@@luckygirliroha Hey! I can explain it. So Nagito obtained a book after clearing The Final Dead Room, which from he learned, that all of his classmates except the 'traitor' were ultimate despair. (the traitor is Chiaki) And we know, that Nagito despised despair, therefore he wanted them dead, and he wanted Chiaki to be alive. So he trusted his luck, and he was hoping, that Chiaki would be the one killing him. (with a fire grenade, that contained poison) After Chiaki unintentionally killed him, he wanted the others think, that he comitted suicide, so in the voting time they vote for him (nagito) as the blackened.
But Chiaki noticed, that the cause of death wasn't mentioned in the Monokuma file, therefore it'd spoil the identity of the culprit. So they deduced, that Nagito didn't die because of the spear or whatever it was, but because of a pioson he obtained at The Final Dead Room.
Now, the most convinient for Nagito would be, that the person killing him was the traitor, so Chiaki. That being done, he wanted the others to vote for him as the blackened, and even if they figure out his true intentions, then they wouldn't be able to figure out who the culprit is, because there's no way they'd know which one of them threw the grenade that contained the poison that killed Nagito.
But the others trusted Nagito's luck, and voted for the person Nagito wanted to be the killer.
A hope it was helpful, but to be fair, his trial was one of the most twisted one in the game, so it's kinda hard to explain. I suggest you play chapter 5 once more, and maybe it'll be less confusing. :DDD

You misunderstand the V3 5th trial. Kokichi's end game was for Monokuma to get it wrong, that was the whole point. However, Monokuma was now sure that Kaito was the culprit. With that now confirmed in his mind, Shuichi was failing to gaslight him into thinking that Kokichi was actually the culprit. Sadly Shuichi realized too late that Kaito and Kokichi were trying to save everyone, and it wasn't gonna be possible to make Monokuma mess up anymore. Once it was certain that Monokuma got it right, both Kokichi and Kaido respectively would most likely have gotten out of the exisal and let themselves get executed, because BOTH Kaito and Kokichi just wanted to end the game. In the anime, the decisive clue for Mondo's case was only blue jacket, but in the game, there were talks about the student handbook too so even if he didn't say anything about the jacket, they could just check his handbook and confirm things.
Mikan didn't have to say anything about camera at all. By elimination, there was only 1 person who could record the video when Hajime was in the lobby.
Proof that Gundham went to the dead room was the tools that he used. But that doesn't matter. If he said he went out to the bathroom during the rumble, he should've met/heard Nekomaru or the killer because Fuyuhiko only saw Nekomaru during 7 pm until the alarm rang. Even if he accused Nagito, Nagito was like the weakest, he couldn't possibly fight against Nekomaru. The more likely person to accuse was actually Fuyuhiko. Man was a sole witness and the ultimate yakuza. Pretty sure he knew a thing or two to fight without hamsters.

Well for Celeste they would probably still tell she is Japanese, what should she say was "oh my parents moved to France or Germany when I was little and grew up there, later I went back to Japan to attend hope's peak
Kaito's case bugs me because as long as he didn't leave the exisal, then monokuma cannot confirm who's inside, so no matter what the group picks, he can't be sure. Kaito can always make a last minute claim that Kokichi was not moving so the posion might have killed him, making the question if it's maki or Kaito. Another thing is if Kaito just said Kokichi's plan from the start, then Shuichi would have no reason to try to solve it, making the case impossible with no other players able to. Or my favorite one which people played around with, fake both deaths and have them both in the exisal (blood can come from blood bags or as one person tried, just making a gash in oneself to put there, everyone is too emotional to really tell anyway) then even if someone dies inside the exisal, monokuma called a falty trial from the press murder
Miu attempted to kill and she could have done better if she aimed for Shuichi over Kokichi, both are smart but Kokichi has more street smarts and planning, and even if Kokichi was able to tell she killed Shuichi, no one would trust him

I think in Kokichi & Kaito's case, Kokichi likely wouldn't have lasted long enough for the trial due to the poison-and at that point, it's kind of like, do you have his body sit in the exisal with Kaito so that no one finds it? (I think Kaito would've still wanted Maki to not actually be the blackened, so Kokichi would've had to die from something else like blood loss if going off of the idea of both faking their deaths). I think Kokichi could've written Kaito a tactful way to announce their plan, or at least part of it (to allow Shuichi to puzzle out the rest), but if it was figured out from the beginning I wonder how they would've handled the rest of the trial. Gameplay wise players would still want to know what happened, but then do you figure out a way to explain it in the trial without Monokuma learning anything or wait until the end to have them do an exposition? 💭 Either way it would've led to an interesting chapter 6.

First of all, AI Gonta was shown the secrets of the outside world and thats what made him agree with Kokichi to kill someone and create an impossible trial for everyone to be executed, because well, Gonta thought it would be better for everyone to die instead of having to live outside the academy.
BUT, If Gonta DIDN'T cooperated with Kokichi then Miu would've kill Kokichi, thus her winning the trial, why? If Miu wasn't dead then the Red monokub (forgot his name) wouldn't have helped the students to find evidence (he only did that because his "momma"/Miu was dead) and he did reveal some pretty useful things, like if Miu would've touched Kokichi then he would become paralyzed, Miu changing her settings to object and I think it was that there was a weapon left, the Hammer Miu intended to use to kill Kokichi.

All she had to do was make sure Taka and the Astrologer guy did not have solid alibis when Hifumi was killed. Killing Hifumi straight removes the second name thing, leaves Taka as a potential suspect and removes all the evidence Hifumi left around like the note, etc...She tried too hard.

That takes out the second name thing, all the costume nonsense and you can do it in the middle of the night. This makes Taka a suspect and you can also fame Hiro still. I think the writers didn't know what to do with split personality thing and just killed him off quickly but ruined Celeste's ability because her lying is amateurish here. She kills Hifumi, she might have mild suspicion but not enough to convict, and it was mostly the name drop and the frame job that convicted her. Not killing Taka and killing Hifumi in the middle of the night ends all that and save a stretch in another piece of evidence she escapes

I’d start jumping for joy if they announced a 4th game, yeah Rain Code is essentially DR 4, but I don’t think it will be to the EXACT same degree of how the investigation and trail goes. honestly I feel like the only reason that Kokichi doesn't do that in the actual game is because the hypocricy of Shuichi blatantly lying while everyone around him berates Kokichi for being a liar pissed him off so bad that he just outted Gonta right then and there instead of going with his original plan of letting everyone get executed for voting wrong

As much as I would like this to be true... with how the plan is designed everyone but Gonta has an alibi or is physically unable to have killed Miu.
Keebo, Maki and Himiko were all together when Miu body hit the chapel wall.
      Same with Shuichi and Tsumugi.
Kaito was logged out and due to Kokichi's avatar settings preventing him from touching her both of them are physically unable to have killed her.
Unless the characters blatantly ignore these facts Gonta is the only suspect.
And Kokichi never planned on letting Gonta live... yes Kokichi got mad and revealed that Gonta is the killer because Shuichi lied.
But figuring out that Gonta is the killer doesn't require Kokichi to snitch on him.
In the end Kokichi's plan was to build up his villain persona for his greater plan of stopping the killing game.
Nothing suggests that Kokichi would side with Gonta for any reason.
That being said, let's suggest Gonta would've kept his memory... then what Gonta as rude as it sounds is not smart enough to defend himself. The only reason he was able to do so in the first place was because he genuinely believed to be innocent.
For Gonta to win either everyone alive would've to be willfully ignorant like Kaito was and just ignore both Shuichi's and Kokichi's reasoning... or Gonta would have to come up with a completely different plan that excludes Kokichi and leaves room for other suspects.
Trust me I don't want to say that Gonta's death was innevitable... but I can't see a reasonable way he could've survived with the plan he was a part of.
If you still think that I'm wrong, I would like for you to tell me exactly how you imagine this thing play out.
I would like to be proven wrong, I really do, I just don't see a way it's possible.

@@ProfessorNilo to be honest I'd forgotten about Shuichi & Tsumugi being right next to eachother when the body hit the chapel wall, and barring some convoluted method where that could've been delayed I can't say anything comes to mind for an argument that could be made against that fact
I do disagree that Gonta wouldn't be smart enough to come up with *something* though; Gonta is naive, but he's clearly smart enough to come up with stuff like how the culprit tied the ropes together over the pool in Chapter 2 (not to mention that, iirc, the idea to push the body off the roof using the lattice was actually his idea not Kokichi's) so I feel like if he truly wanted to he could've come up with at least something to make himself less suspicious, although granted I don't think it would've been successful at actually letting him get away with murder in the even if he did, but I could at least see him managing to steer the conversation away from topics that'd potentially incriminate him without anyone else noticing

He just wasn't good at it, as shown he realized he needed to use the lint roller to make it so there was no hair as his was a dead giveaway, but he obviously didn't register or see what Sayaka wrote behind her. Coupled with that, the glass ball and shirt with the incinerator showed he tried, but wasn't able to get rid of that evidence fully, which is something they mention in the closing argument - he had thought he did and by then it was too late since he couldn't get into the incinerator room without the key. 1: Leon DID try to clean up his mess, he couldn’t get into the trash room because he didn’t have the key to actually get in there
2: If TeruTeru didn’t scream he would’ve been the ONLY possible person who could’ve killed Byakuya by process of elimination. The big giveaway was the meat on the bone, the stove, etc.
3: Peko had to escape through the window because if she didn’t she would’ve left her footprints in the sand. She told everyone she was at the first island’s beach, so why would her footprints be on the second beach?
4: As you said, Gundham only truly lost because he never wanted to win. I feel even if Nekomaru had killed Gundham, he would’ve eventually came forward as well. They tried to kill so everyone else could live, because everyone else had essentially given up
5: Remember, Korekiyo wasn’t planning on killing Angie, he wanted to kill somebody else originally. Though after he killed Angie, I agree he should’ve just left it at that, crazy psycho…

If I was in Leon's shoes I would have hidden all the evidence in my bathroom including the katana and bloody clothing seeing as similarly nobody would have a reason to check my room without probable suspicion which they wouldn't have seeing as everyone suspended Makoto at the time
