You don't use Desflurane for shorter cases just because it is less soluble. This is a misnomer. If it's a short case, any gas will do because it hasn't had time to equilibrate outside of the vessel rich group anyway. It makes more sense to use Desflurane for LONGER cases as once it has had time to saturate adipose, it will come out faster when the case is finished. Also, the MAC of N20 is 105, not 150.
