Ngl tho the 96 mph fastballs right down the middle aren’t gonna cut it, he got away with that pitch to hoerner to end the game. Wish I felt better about the back end of the bullpen

True, but he still gave up a little too much contact on that last out. He is certainly not sharp right now. That being said, Iglesias is on my shit list no matter what he does. It will take quite a while to forgive him for giving up a HR with 2 outs in the 9th with a no-hitter on the line. That was some bullshit.
Olson made a great dugout catch in the 2nd. For some reason, this highlight reel DIDN’T show it. (But Go Braves)

As an Atlanta resident I couldn’t see the game despite having MLB Extra Innings package with Xfinity. When they tell you “You get all the games all the time” they forget the part of “As long as you also get Direct TV and sign up for the Cubs Marquee channel.”
How can a team create its own network and then block out markets they are visiting? That’s some bullshit right there.

No offense but you're kind of a fool if you "can't" watch the game lol there are plenty of ways to watch it, just takes a little digging. F them if they want to make it hard to watch
I live in Kentucky and was able to watch the game on MLB Network.
@@bullythebooks I did dig. Fubo claimed to carry the game but is $89 to sign up with no way to tell if they carried the Marquee channel. CZcamsTV claims to have all the games but was just as expensive. Of course, conditions and rates may apply.
I dug a bit more to learn that in order to watch the game through the Cubs Marquee channel only DirectTV carries it. Furthermore, I just heard through some people at the office that the Braves intentionally blackout games to drive fans to the stadium.
Looks like since I’m not about to drop another $200 dollars a month on streaming services i’ll go back to what they did in the olden days, and that is listen to them on the radio. Wait, what. I got to sign up for SeriusXM…aaahh screw it!

Much needed team win for us after that heartbreaking loss on Sunday night! The pitching was absolutely brilliant! Reynaldo, Ray, Dylan and AJ all pitched very well! They threw the baseball very well! So proud of the boys! Let's get the series win over the Cubbies tonight boys and then hopefully break out the brooms tomorrow night! Our 1 through 9 hitters hit the baseball really good! Our lineup is just so dangerous! MLB needs to watch out for this very dangerous Braves lineup! All of Braves Country showed up and showed out last night! We definitely had that tomahawk choppin going all game long last night! Love my Atlanta Braves! It's a great day to be an Atlanta Brave! Once an Atlanta Brave always an Atlanta Brave! Minter is not a closer. He's a decent middle reliever and that's where he needs to stay

Acuna has quit hustling all the way around. Doesn't run out ground balls. Inattentive on the bases. Whole team, especially the offense looks lethargic. They really miss Ron Washington.
After playing baseball year round.I'm beginning to wonder if Acuna isn't tired. Maybe he needs a rest for a couple of games.
Im so excited to get that elite defense from Sean Murphy back.
D’Arnaud has been much better at throwing runners out this season. Looks like he throws from the knees a lot more and I had noted he was slow to release the ball in years past trying to stand and throw. I have not checked the stats but this is how it feels watching these highlights every day.

IT SEEMED A BIT CHILDISH FOR HIM TO DO THAT. Cubs fan here this was not a good game at all for us when Imanaga was taken out the Braves are a really tough team to beat.
That's 3 runs Acuna has cost the Braves in the last week just from getting picked off at first base . DO BETTER ! Seriously , I'm getting sick of the piss poor base running . Against the Mets last week it cost them the game in extra innings that coulda shoulda been won in 9 innings .

Yo, what’s up with Ronald? His play isn’t sharp at all, is home life messing with his on the field performances? It seems like it, getting picked off by the Mets twice in the same game. The Mets are piss poor at that too. This is literally the day after, ya get picked off again? I’ve defended the guy because he’s a very important piece of the puzzle but he affecting the team negatively with these mental lapses.
I was a skeptic with this entire Freddie being the glue thing but Freeman would have approached Acuña after the first time he got picked off earlier this year and been on his tail (figuratively speaking) about that. Also, three years into it, Freeman outperformed Olson either two years to one or two years and a tie. For this year Freeman is doing way better than Matt Olson. So it’s certainly skewing towards mistake territory by not paying Freddie what he wanted. Who cares if Freddie falls off a cliff the last two years, that’s great output for 4 of 6 years. Olson, is lagging far behind Freddie, it’s crazy. This year, it’s ugly.
He might play better if he got a haircut and wore the proper Braves uniform.

Worse coached team in the MLB. Snitker at what point are you going to tell Acuna and now Albies to stay close to the base and stop running the bases like an idiot. Acuna is the worse player I have seen at running the bases, last year and the year before and now this year, he gets caught in no man's land numerous times. Sometimes it is stupid thing like over running second base and of course the leaning off first base that he has been caught 3 times in 3 games. How on earth could any coach put up with this. Acuna grow up and quit acting and playing like a child. 2 people on this team are very immature that is Acuna and Arcia act like 3rd graders, grow up and quit all the childish horseplay. Snitker is so clueless, he never says one word to the players about anything. I know this because I have heard many players say this. He is a game manager not a team manager. He did not have anything to do with the title that year, they had to go get 4 bats to win it.
And the Braves hitting program is horrible, Chipper Jones is not helping much this year and it shows. That hitting coach they have now is horrible. With all that offensive talent they should be scoring 7 runs per game. He is horrible!!!!

Acuna cost the Braves a chance at a World Series a few years back with his non hustle on the bases against the Dodgers. The league has him, Olson, and Riley figured out. Acuna might go down as one of the biggest bust in major league history. Mookie Betts is light years ahead of him.
