Burna is Nigeria’s Greatest for 2019
Africa's greatest hits
No doubt
@@daywan749 Shut up He's Nigeria's greatest. what do you mean?
an understatement....
Point of correction, not only in 2019. The problem is that we dont appreciate musicians that give us good music, until people started appreciate their works from outside.
This what happens when Afrikan artist control their own content and tell it the way it is
Bruh
Iam african producer Check trap beat in my channel pls give me your power !!
Exactly!
Just don’t get corrupted by western artists! Sadly 😏
@BFD Media Not entirely. Burna has a huge say in the kind of music he releases that's why it took him longer to be noticed. Man can't be pushed around
It's very true he signed on his own terms listen to his interview on sway and breakfeast club. Because he clearly said if the record label tries to make him do something he doesn't like he will give them back their cash. Its the same thing with cassper nyovest signing with def jam on the contract it states he has the last word if not nothing goes through
I’m a so called, “African American”. First song I heard of his was YE on Instagram about a week ago & it gravitated me to find out who he was. I’ve been listening to burna boy everyday since then. I even went back to his old album in 2011. I appreciate his music so much. It’s life. It’s what we need. His music makes me want to track my history, lineage, & roots back to Africa. Also me and my wife are planning to buy property in Africa. Appreciate you Burna! Your music is not a talent. It’s a blessing! Keep touching the people and never change your message. WE HEAR YOU
Keep exploring Africa is yours too
African americans will not know power until they FEEL the connection to their roots. It’s a calling. You’re on the right path and i promise you your energy is slowly changing
You're welcome in Africa my brother 🖤
Ima “white” American and not only has this mans music helped me gain more empathy for the plight of all Africans, it’s forced me to appreciate what it means to be born American. We can’t imagine what it must be like to have been born Nigerian. 😔

This is good music. Both Ghana & Nigeria suffered Colonialism. So if u listen to the rap by Manifest, you'd realise that he spoke about Ghana's version. Good one Burna

It's nothing we didn't all know. It's called Independence day for a reason. But what you do presently and for the future is what matters.
I am - it never dawned on me about Unilever - hidden history always find it's way especially when we have intellectual musicians like Burna - African fusion is sweet but there are those who are not addressing the gift they hold in a positive manner and to me it looks as though it's only about the 'spondulucs' (money) - no moral message just sex, sex, sex. Not that there is anything wrong with that but every single song is covered with explicit images on the video. Whereas, Burna brings forth wisdom and factual events that occurred without the truth behind it. I am learning each day and embracing my mindset in a positive way. I wish my beautiful African sisters can ditch the imagery Western long wigs and hair pieces and adore their natural locks which is the envy but a lot of the women are blinded and see beauty in a false way.
Conscious music to break the chains of oppression 💪

Okay the social message behind this is SO GOOD. I think India had a similar experience with the British, starting off as East India Company, and then turning into hundreds of years of brutal colonisation. Time we started sharing the other side of these stories. Love Burna Boy!
India is so much better
I guess it's all countries colonised by the British.Even Kenya (and Zimbabwe too, if am not wrong) too has the same experience. The colonialist stole huge tracks of land in the fertile region by displacing locals and after independence they sold the land multinationals such as Brooke Bond , Williams tea and Finlay's. In 1984 Unilever acquired Brooke Bond and it's assets including the land
Half the planet has been colonised by the British...
