This song was spectacular. I love that they can all pursue their solo endeavors aside from our beloved Home Free. I think having both solo and group careers makes them all that much more enriched and elevates our wonderful experience. We, as fans, are so lucky. Home Free is a gold mine filled with diamonds and jewels. They all work so hard to make the best use of their talents and they deserve every success both in the context of Home Free and individuals.

I posted on Austin's premiere that you'd do a triple play. Wasn't expecting a 4-peat! It's an absolutely amazing song done brilliantly by an awesome singer!

You know, we, as mortals, cannot achieve perfection in all aspects of our lives here, but I believe Austin has achieved perfection in singing this beautiful song with his excellent voice and his tender heart. Thank you for doing his rendition of this song - and playing it four times!

I’ve thought a lot about why my favourite creators aren’t more well known - voiceplay, home free and all the individual stuff they put out. I certainly want them to do well but would any of these guys really want to be more famous than they are? If you get superstardom you have seem to have great difficulty having a normal life. If the level of fame and. appreciation they have now gives them a decent living I for one am happy for them to go on doing what they do. ❤️

Because acapella is where his heart is at? Personally I'm not even questioning it because why would I want him to move into an industry where I wouldn't have easy, regular and varied ways of hearing and seeing him unless it was what he wanted? I'm sure that if he had wanted to pursue that career he would have been successful.
Austin showing not only his amazing natural talent here but also his training in music theater, his diction, tone and placement here could easily be on a Broadway stage! And let's also shout out Sebby, his playing on this is just perfect! They knocked this one all the way out of the park. ❤️🎶❤️
What I keep coming back to is the way he expresses such pain and despair while at the same time expressing hope and complete faith. He moves so easily between them and he ends with the knowingness that all is well. This is what gets me every time. And he does it from the depths of his heart and soul just perfectly, not too much, not too little. Pure perfection!
I'm not sure 4 times was enough. I could have watched you react to this many more times. Absolutely fantastic performance by Austin and Sebastien supports hon perfectly and beautifully as always.

I absolutely love Austin’s rendition of this one! I watched your reaction all the way through (yep, all 4 times you played it.) and I could definitely see how much you enjoyed it and I could see you were touched emotionally a little bit here and there. I thought when you played Home Free’s “Brothers in Arms” three times was something, and totally worthy. This was definitely worthy of replaying! Loved it! Austin emoted so much singing “Bring Him Home”! Sebastien accompanied him beautifully, too! They’re quite the team! I imagine, and hope, that this one goes viral for Austin, like “Unchained Melody” did.

This is an incredibly hard song to sing, but Austin's gift from God (his voice) is amazing and he has nailed it. I heard this on Broadway many years ago, and I have always said that Austin could easily do Broadway musicals. The power and emotion in his voice is incredible. Simply beautiful.

So many feelings! So strong yet so fragile and serene. Austin’s voice is perfect for this. I heard him sing this live in Birmingham, UK, January 2016 and you could hear a needle fall.

Lyle I saw the Australia stage production of Les Mis at least 5 times lol. This song always made me cry.....Austin has done it again for me. hi, I have been watching you since you started following Homefree, I am a homefry and look for any content with them in it. I dont often subscribe but i did with you for one reason, you showed the whole season of the sing off with them. I so enjoyed watching that with you. It felt like watching T.V with a friend. Im an old lady alone, and no Im not sad about that. But it was so nice to see you laugh, and enjoy the show, I enjoyed your enjoyment. I think these gentlemen are so talented, in my youth I was a singer (I'm 60yrs) and I enjoy listening to vocals. I think they are exceptional singers. I love to see your honest assessment and views on the talent you react too. I like to watch you because you seem to really enjoy what they bring, and I do enjoy watching you do that.

I was absolutely mesmerized by the whole performance, but like you, I was particularly moved when he softened his voice on the phrase Bring him peace. He is so good ass using his voice to convey emotion. He also did a wonderrful job doing that on Danny Boy.

My husband was in the US Navy for 29 years. This song hits special.
I admit, I was nervous before I watched it as well, because I have heard David Phelps' version, which is spectacular. My conclusion: they are equally lovely in how they interpret the song, just each in their own way.
I disliked the Phelps version. The arrangement is tasteless, casting doubt on his choices. Austin never uses his agility just to impress, but to me Phelps does.
With all respect to David Phelps I have never liked his voice. I feel as if he tries too hard...sorry to David for this comment. To me I have never heard a finer singer than Austin sing this very fine song. Lots of work gone into his performance but he made it so natural, effortless and full to the brim of FEELING. His talent is incredible. The first time I heard it I was astonished. The level of talent and commitment from these a cappella groups is mind boggling and every single member is just so amazing. Home Free is probably the first group I listened to a lot, and VoicePlay soon followed. BTW--you're going to lose it over Dragonborn. It's the best one to date.
Tim, Austin, Chance and Rob with their solo projects show us how lucky we are that they stay together as Home Free. They could all have solo careers because they are all so freaking talented separate from Home Free.
As much as I enjoy all their solo stuff that they do, my favorites are still when they are all together as a group as Home Free with Adam Rupp.
You are so right. They all are individually talented enough to succeed as a solo artist. I commented a couple weeks ago that if Austin wanted to he could become the next great crooner like Andy William, Frantk Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Johnny Mathis and others.
@@dagmar.6954 Me too. I think having the freedom and the outlet to do their own solo stuff probably helps actually keep them together as a group. Keeps egos in check and harmony when they do Home Free stuff.
