It's more complicated than defending the front on land - and requires specialist skills and equipment. DW's Carolina Chimoy joined one naval unit during training, as they were ambushed by a Russian drone.

Did anyone notice the guy rocking the Daniel Defense carbine? Made in Savanna GA. I’m impressed with the customized optics. I didn’t know military units still used aim points (I thought trijicon had taken over) or that that the flip magnifier was a thing outside the civilian market. Either way that is some beautiful weaponry those guys have. I highly approve!

You clearly heard them state that training missions are taking place under real life circumstances, because of which they had to cancel the training, since of a Russian drone crossing their path. The Russians depending on the activity in the region will be able to launch of with several hundreds to a thousand soldiers. Which made it crucial to break down the exercise. The item recorded in the boat leaving the area is clearly in lesser dangerous terrain on the way back. I can imagine that you think it was all safe, since of the editing done to the video, in which parts are mixed up and so I can imagine the comments you both put. But one can clearly obtain chronology of the video, when you watch it carefully.

This river where they are training is not anywhere near the front line. It is nowhere near the range of Russian drones, not even the kamikaze drones.
