The end is not loaded unless there is a player, so even though the dragon was technically dead, the game calculated the entire time silverr was running back to the stronghold in the background as added in some HP to the dragon, also explains the fact that dragon was not at full hp because it was only healing of one crystal it had in it's range the time it froze i couldn't think of any other possible reasons, so please tell me if I'm mistaken
