- Upgraded the Sidewinder with a 5 flash Turbo Dynamics combo and picked up a 3" TurboForce exhaust. Shop install of the setup and first exhaust sound comparison.

The sound has a deep note like my Renegade that doesn't pick up the best on a hero camera but it definitely travels the distance.

If you cut a torx bit socket like a ball end, you can take out the bolts that you used the pipe wrench for.

Great video! Makes doing the TD upgrade appear less intimidating after seeing you do it. Approx. how much is that upgrade package? Have to run higher than 91 now?
I have 94 from the pump in it. package is a little under 3k. Save a lot if you only want one tune but I really like the dash pod reflash and 5 tunes.

Is that a 3 or 4 cylinder? I had an 07 Apex RTX and had Super Q exhaust installed with a power programmer. That exhaust I had was sick sounding when I still had the sled. I sure miss sledding and 4 wheeling. Where are you located?

NOS ATV: Do you mind if I ask how much that set you back to increase your SRX to 300hp? Is it actually 300hp? Who did you go through for all your add ons? Did you need to bring it anywhere for a tune on a dyno?

Have you noticed it getting any louder after a while? My D&D Tech 2 got louder after about 300miles on my 9000. Also, I didn’t notice a Cold air intake or the aluminum boost tubes, have you since installed them? Have you had any heat issues with higher horsepower tunes?
Temp runs the same as stock of not a few degrees cooler. Grabbing a cai and boost tubes here soon.

Thanks for the quick reply. It sounds great. I have the boost tubes, CAI, D&D muffler, and the TD powertrail tune, but I am debating getting that Blow off valve, and the map sensor with TD’s Max 17 tune.

@@NOSAtvs nice, are they really around 643 dry weight in pounds? I want to make sure I can handle the weight, I am 180 lbs, 5'7.5" a little guy LOL, this Sidewinder is 7500 out the door, the alternative is a used 2017 with 1100 kms, or 800 miles, 1 year warranty left 2017 MC M8000 162 X 3"
what I ment was 2 strokes have lighter engines and are easer to lift the front and are more responsive but the 4 stokes do in dead put out more hp, but not as responsive so i ges its just depends on what u want in a snowmachine

For a clutch kit I prefer them. For full clutches I like the stm's

It's amazing Yamaha makes a machine capable of this yet they keep the Grizzly so tame. Such a shame... I mean don't get me wrong I love my Grizzly but It needs that 850 twin mill in it.

So about double the hp of my 850 and I think that it's fast. You're gonna have to tape your hands to the bars so you can hold on lol

The 4 stroke braap is deep. The camera really doesn't pick up what's going on. That being said, I'm a fan of both 2 & 4 stroke loud braaps, lol.

This machine stock is 200hp. Didn't really have to do anything to it. I Just enjoy working on them.
Aiddin Cantrell the 850 turbo only makes 165hp at sea level and it’s proclaimed 8000 ft.
