Doll hair is synthetic and is made of plastic. Mattel tends to use worse material for their dolls as well. These came out so good and are an amazing gift!
Love the doll❤ but for future refrence, when ur straiting a dolls hair you want to let the straitner heat up, then unplug it let it coll down for a sec but have it still be hot ( if that makes sence) and THEN straiten the dolld hair. Hope it works!❤

I do customized dolls, so I have a tip for the hair melting issue. Comb out the hair. Boil a pot of water, take off the heat. Let the water settle so its not boiling but still very hot. Stand the doll up in a glass or something in the sink, coat the hair in something like conditioner or fabric softener that will help protect it. Then pour the super hot water down over it. You may need to use rubber bands to hold the hot straight hair down in place while it cools and dries so it doesn't crinkly back up.
i make custom dolls and you were making me nervous at first but i think gluing the braids was a great idea since you’re just doing it the one time! otherwise i would definitely suggest making wefts or plugging hair.

Love languages doesn’t exist, it’s as real as star signs. If someone decided to give you a hand made gift, that doesn’t mean their “lOvE lAnGuAge” is gifts, that just means they like DIY stuff and have fun creating them
@@Lampey22sometimes that can be true! not every gift is a means to express love. However, love languages are very real. Humans are all different and we express love and affection in different ways. Someone in your life may show affection by telling you how much they love and appreciate you, whereas another might show that affection by paying attention to things that you want/like and finding a way to give it to you.

I may want to give gifts to someone, but prefer to hug someone esle instead. I don’t need to give gift to the another person i love to prove my love for them. Everything is a one-time-only action

I do customized dolls, so I have a tip for the hair melting issue. Comb out the hair. Boil a pot of water, take off the heat. Let the water settle so its not boiling but still very hot. Stand the doll up in a glass or something in the sink, coat the hair in something like conditioner or fabric softener that will help protect it. Then pour the super hot water down over it. You may need to use rubber bands to hold the hot straight hair down in place while it cools and dries so it doesn't crinkly back up.
or you could just turn on the straightener, wait for a few seconds, turn it off and start straightening. If it cools down repeat.
