I probably should have learned everything I could before spending 1700 on a massage chair, but I saw good reviews for an iRest A303 chair, which turns out is a 3D chair, and my body just loves the heck out of it. I only have it 2 days, the options and remote features are overwhelming to people like me, who didn’t do their homework and don’t know the terminology and differences in features/functionality. One day I will get there, but the F1 preset, which is what you get when you press start, is simply a stop in heaven for 20 minutes.
Actually, 3D and 4D is the same, Sorry Just want to be brutally honest, it's only fair to the buyers, The difference she speaks about on the 4D is the same speed adjustment all chairs have as she mentioned on the 2D. Funny how different sellers tell you their own definition of what is 4D. We all know there are only 3 Dimensions, not 4. Real 3D (4D) Chairs have the ability to move the back massaging rollers forward towards the user (so you can control the massage pressure depth of the rollers against you) or back away from you for a softer massage. Standard non-3D massage chairs back massage pressure is set and the only way to control back massage pressure or intensity is by adding more back padding or removing padding or reclining to put more bodyweight on the back massagers for deeper massages.
@@sethother8012 no it is not. I have IREST SL A 305-17 fantastic top qaulity midrange massage chair with heating and very roomy anyone can fit in it and worth the money only paid $2800 for it. The next model up has all the same features and is 3D that I tried and not worth the extra $1600 just for that and maybe a few extra features and not as roomy as the one I have.
@@sethother8012 Nowadays, not many 2D massage chairs out there. It is better to pick a 3D chair so that you can adjust the intensity. Some models allow you to adjust the intensity in many areas of body independently (like Luraco chair).

However you can also add a 4th dimension known as the A dimension (an additional axis of rotation on the X axis), A 5th axis known as the B dimension (The introduction of a second rotational axis in reference to the Y axis), and lastly the 6th or G dimension (The introduction of a third rotational axis in reference to the Z axis. ) If you were to create massage nodules that had the ability to maneuver in 6 axis it would be incredibly expensive however it would also be probably the closest you could possibly ever come to a human hand because you would have the ability for that nodule to perfectly position itself in any possible three-dimensional location at any angle from any other angle as efficiently as it possibly could be done. When you only have three axis that you can move Then you have to move basically in a diagonal or either left or right and you can make it up and down move at the same time but that’s about as good as it gets. But when you add in that fourth dimension now the finger or let’s call it the tool can start to turn like a masseuses Thumb or palm. Some chairs make this approximation happen by using massage nodes that have a shape formation that feels like a thumb And they rotate it Or something of that nature. But if you had a 4d or 5d cnc unit it could actually apply the pressure from different angles and maneuver the tool in the same spot without moving with different pressures from different angles. Could easily stimulate things like when the masseuse puts his elbow on your back and works it in a circle. I hope now that you understand better why people talk about as many as six dimensions when it comes to something like this.

Speed adjustment cannot be counted as a Dimension (D). We all know there are ONLY 3 Dimensions (XYZ = H x W x L). Please don't treat us like that.
