A mercy of peace, a sacrifice of praise.
    And with your spirit.
We lift them up to the Lord.
It is dignified and righteous to worship the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit the Trinity, consubstantial and indivisible.
Holy, holy, holy, Lord Sabaoth, heaven and earth are filled with Your glory. Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
We praise You, we bless You,we give thanks to You, and we pray to You, Lord our God.
    Mykolai Dyletskyi
Exact dates of his life are unknown and contradictory: he was probably born in Kyiv in 1650, probably died in Moscow or Smolensk in 1723. He was educated at the Vilnius Jesuit Academy and worked as a regent and teacher of church singing in Vilno (Vilnius), Kyiv, Smolensk, St. Petersburg.
Author of the theoretical treatise "Musical Grammar" ("Грамматика пѣнія мусикійскаго"), a fundamental work in the development of Ukrainian musical artistry which exists in several editions and translated versions (1675-1681, 1723). For the first time, this work compiled and generalized music theory, previously only available through oral tradition or Western European academic treatises. In "Musical Grammar," Dyletskyi explains the basics of music theory, composition, and new Ukrainian polyphonic "partes" singing, which replaced the church monody.

Українське бароко як в музиці, так і в архітектурі має свій витончений, вишуканий і дуже мелодійний відтінок. Дякую і хору , і його диригенту за виконання! Ви молодці !
