- Answering the call of anglers around the country Daiwa Introduces the all-new Tatula 100- now with HYPER DRIVE DESIGN. A re-design of the reel frame allows anglers to achieve even greater levels of comfort and confidence. While this reel is a powerhouse, the new lighter A7075 spool will also give anglers the opportunity to cast longer distances as well as achieve greater control with the use of lighter finesse baits.
Our HYPER DRIVE DESIGN is comprised of four key technologies- HYPER DRIVE DIGIGEAR, HYPER DOUBLE SUPPORT, HYPER ARMED HOUSING and HYPER TOUGH CLUTCH.
HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR- a brand-new gear design makes the teeth of the gears more efficient at transferring power, therefore making the gear set feel smoother, more powerful and also reducing gear noise.
HYPER DOUBLE SUPPORT- a two bearing support system for the reel's pinion gear means no flex and an ultra smooth retrieve/ gear rotation.
HYPER ARMED HOUSING- the reel features an aluminum frame and sideplate for maximum rigidity and precision performance of the internal components.
HYPER TOUGH CLUTCH- a redesigned and reinforced clutch mechanism increases durability and performance. - Sport

@@lansiman looks like it’s 7-0 in this poll. I have the tatula elite, zillion sv tw, tatula 100 and have the new 100 on preorder. The original 100 is my least favorite looking of all of them. That’s just my opinion plus it has red in it which is 👎

Calling out Daiwa on this one… The 2023 Tatula DOES NOT have “Hyper Double Support” 0:41 as it claims like the 2021 Zillion 1000. False advertisement!
Hey, Ive been hearing the same and if this is true, its ridiculous. Ive tried to get more info or schematics but got nothing, do you know more about this possible scam?

I have no proof if yes or no, a retailer in Finland said there is a double pinion support though. Waiting for someone to inspect the insides of this reel

I dont know about other 2023 Tatula models for other countries but for the USA market it’s a scam. I went inside both reel the zillion and tatula, no support bearinng/pinion aka” Hyperdigi gear… blah blah nonsense.”

Who thought it'd be a good idea to put "Tatula" on the top of the reel like that? Makes it look super cheap and not pleasing to the eye, at all. Not to mention it's UPSIDE DOWN.
Aku baru beli ‘18 tatula100 tahun lepas. Lepas tengok video ni, aku menyesal. Sebab tatula sebelum ni bukan hyperdrive design.
Fishing gear marketing nomenclature has got to be the worst I've seen in any product lol. Hyperdrive, digigear, flux capacitor spool, nuclear fission handle, quantum speed button. Just talk plain, my goodness.
You don’t believe in any of the technology? I do especially fishing an shimano with micro module gearing and daiwas hyperdrive. Hyperdrive is insanely smooth.
