    Great presentation Ali. I like the concept of the notch so that you can use the apex locator on shorter files when space is limited.

    haha I like the word you used here "robust" preparation. To each their own, buts surprising at where we are with instrumentation that PTG is still the preferred for many practitioners...I guess old habits die hard?

    Excellent work doc ☺️☺️ love to see you work so efficiently and accurately.Dr.Allen I was wondering what are you thoughts on skipping the S1 file size as I have found in "my case" that it tends to fracture in the tooth so I usually start using S2 file and then go ahead to F1 and F2 files accordingly.What are you thoughts in this doc ?Thank you for the video and providing and sharing your knowledge

    • @AANasseh
      @AANasseh  Před 3 lety +2

      Thanks. I think you can reduce the odds of separation of the S1 by making sure you instrument the canal to a size 15 hand file before using it to apex. That’s an important thing for those who have an issue with separations with ProTaper files.

    how can you choose the apical gauge with these instruments? I guess in this case shaping at 30.06 was the right choice but in many cases it's too much for mesial canals... would you recommend to shape with these files till 20.06 or 25.05 and then finish with a manual 30 or 35 k file to shape only the apical part?

    What’s your protocol when you have a vital tooth and some apical bleeding, no periapical infection, do you wait to seal the canal after bleeding? Place them in CaOH for a period of time before sealing?

    Hi professor, does variable tapered rotary files induce higher "suction feeling" when binding with the dentinal wall than constant tapered rotary files?
    Since I noticed ProTaper Next induced fairly large amount of "suction feeling" when I introduced it into the canal, I was wondering if variable tapered file all could experience this phenomenon. Thank you so much for the informative video!

    • @AANasseh
      @AANasseh  Před 3 lety +1

      The experience of getting sucked down the canal is more a factor or a file's pitch and helical angle design. Constant taper can also get sucked down but that's why the EndoSequence has variable pitch and helical angles. In addition, the alternating contact points help reduce the suck down effect. Either way, suck down can be averted by reducing constant apical pressure or using a handpick like EndoSync Plus that has OTR. But you can also do the same with a good and stable finger rest and management file engagement with good control over file tip (good grip.) Hope this helps.

    Dr Nasseh, is this the step back technique with EndoSeg Taper CM?

    • @AANasseh
      @AANasseh  Před 3 měsíci

      It’s the same protocol as ProTaper.
      It’s a mix of step back and crown down I guess.

  • @CaptainEndo

    I observed that the Endo Sync Stops and stays put for 5 sec-7 sec after reaching working length. Thats bad. Its should start turning in reverse direction, not simply stop. The file binds into the canal when topped abruptly. Any movement can fracture the file

    • @AANasseh
      @AANasseh  Před 3 lety +1

      You can choose your apical action and program it in. You have three options: No Action (will continue to rotate and simply beeping from the EAL, you can choose apical Stop, or you can have apical reverse,) So, it's up to you. I prefer Stop. So the assistant can set the stopper. But I'm often too lazy to change it! LOL! But it can be done.
