- We stuck the old Land Rover Defender tyres on the TRX4 Power Wagon to test again whether or not the Pitbull Rock Beasts are in fact Rock Beasts or whether they are overrated... What are your thoughts on them?

RCunexttuesday, but if not, RCunexttime - Zábava
Click this link to see how they performed in a very short clip of the Traxxas TRX4 Defender all that time ago... As we said, every application is different, too different...
What other wheels would you want to see us test on these rocks? Let us know below, and as always; stay representing! #RCUArmy
What the heck, you did a crawler vid without me!😭
I know those rocks all too well, so I can vouch for how well those tyres have performed there. Like we've discussed at length recently, the perfect tyre on one rig at one location can be the complete opposite on a different day or new rig. When you find the right tyre, it nails it!
We had to sneak in an anti-Dave day😂 make up for it with a road trip, I say😏👍🏼
It's funny how J seems to crawl so much better when Dave isn't watching him. Dave, "The Intimidator"? That was some great crawling J. I always love videos from that location.
To be fair, J always crawls quite well, but I'm better so he looks bad by default 😂
@@davesrc_crawling8349 Well said. That should boost his confidence :)
Two points there, Dave is definitely some sort of abuser when it comes to our meets😂👍🏼
Very impressive 👏
I honestly didn't expect them to perform as good as they did👍
You’re not the only one!👊🏼
Jay looked like a proud father, "I'm doing it again" 🤣 class, and whats going on with (billy baby face) the beard does look charming mate suits you.
The trucks performance was stonking mate, nice and smooth rather relaxing to watch. How about you guys try this "ISDT Esc70" against the fusion?
You’ve made me Google that… interesting concept they’ve created, I think it’d be better suited against a 1080 combo in terms of comparison but we do also have an axe running in the vanquish… provided it matches performances there we’d throw it up against the fusion, could be interesting!👀
@@RCunexttuesday for a lad who swears blind he's not that into crawling you knew what was a better comparison. Admit it you've got a soft spot for crawling 😜 definitely could be put up against something you guys have and would make a very classy 3 way session 🤣
Well what can I say🤷🏻♂️😂
Running PitBulls on the Jimny probably half the reason it surprised me with how good it was on the wknd. Great vid chaps some epic climbs 😎
Something I found out earlier today is that they make 1.7’s could be interesting for some of our other trucks… we run the general grabbers on our jimny👊🏼💯
@@RCunexttuesday definetly need to sot out a meet your Jimny with ours & our Wraiths with your Capra then there is till the SCX10IIs 1 on straight 1 on portals & the Gmade Bom with the Rgt front cab against your 🤷♂️ 😂 would be a good day 🤔 productive day vid wise 😉
Sounds an interesting one, that’s for sure😅✌🏼
Awesome tires and test, cool RC
Thanks boss👍🏼
Running Rock Beasts on the Element Sandero Hd, I like them ,work well on dry stuff, but I think soft Super Swampers have edge slightly apart from on crosshilling..
Super swampers are one of our all time greats! Phenomenal performances from this when we ran them on our Dave4x4💯
Awesome legends ✌️
💯💯
Personally ive had basically the same results across all my tires regardless of tread, changes mainly occur when i do something different with the insert. Getting the tire to squish well but be supported everywhere its touching is key to getting that grip. Then theres the balance of losing that grip in loose stuff cuz a soft tire will roll and slide off loose surfaces while a stiff one will dig in, opposite is true with rocks cuz theres nothing to dig so surface area becomes the limit of grip rather than a bite on a specific spot
The good old tire rabbit hole…
@@RCunexttuesday you know it!
I think the tyres did alright kids I'd class that as a solid win 😎
You could be right you know🔥
@@RCunexttuesday dam I thought I was the only crazy one to b up this early lol, that truck looks so much more capable now than it did b4 🤙👊
Love my Hyrax over any others lol
The hyrax seems to be the default for a lot of people, it’s a tire we could never get behind… maybe again due to environmental reasons🤷🏻♂️
I like them very much work on all my surfaces also wet rocks very well.Louise Champ are very close to Rock Beasts.
The Champ/Deep Woods are too common for our liking. Heard so much good about them that I would like to try them but it bugs me seeing everyone and their nan run them on their trucks...
Had the pitbull rock beast xl,s ,good in dry but wet not so good prefer my rc4wd iroks
IROKS are a solid choice. We run them on the Capra and that thing can climb!🔥💯
Heya fellas. I'm new to this crawler malarkey and I'd like to know who makes that cage you got there. It's the nicest one I've seen.
I believe it’s ftx from the Texan🤔
Thank you! I believe it is by the looks of it.
Proline makes a good lookin half back, comes with a tool rack for shovels and whatever too of you want it on there
First?
Love the vids by the way 😉
So hesitant with that claim right there🤣 Cheers dude
