- In this episode Dirt Complex goes offroad through the historic hills of Calico Ghost Town in California. Although we planned to do the beautiful Afton Canyon, adventures don't always go as planned and we never made it...
Our 480,000 mile 4runner leads the adventure as the Tacoma, FJ Cruiser, and our new to us 2013 Jeep Wrangler Moab follows confidently.

Awesome job 🙌🏻
Heck yeah new video! 👍🏻
Hey thanks! I think you comment on every video, we have a mask for you for sure!
Keep Uploading! waiting for the next one! Oh, and happy repeat Day! xd
Thanks!
Really shows the importance of having tires with a good sidewall 😳 I’m stoked to be doing all these trails from this channel as soon as I get the Eibach pro truck lift and some FALKEN Wildpeak 255/80/17 tires on my GX470
Yeah. Especially when you're going fast! Tall and skinny tires, nice choice.
YOUR BUDDY JUST LIKES BUYING JUNK THAT BRAKES DOWN HUH?
Hillsborough Service 😂 exactly
Hahaha. To be fair, it was old tires + speed do not mix.
@@DirtComplex no I meant first a landrover then a Jeep.
@@hillsboroughservice2116 Hahah yeah. As a Toyota owner I agree.
The Jeep needs tires upgrade, Great video!
Yes. He was hoping to use them longer before buying a lift and bigger tires. Now he has to do it sooner. Thanks for watching!
The Jeep owner needs to know that Yoda says "the most important wheel on a 4x4 is the steering wheel."
I like that. Yes, those flats happened because we tend to drive faster in the open desert.
Please change the fj cruiser top to match the body color trust me. And it seems like the fj and tacoma don't use atrac.
You’re right!.... because the Tacoma doesn’t have Atrac
Nice! I’ve missed your videos, love the humor and the editing job, need moar veedioes! Make me subscribe!!!!!
What year is your 4runner
How many miles you have on your 4runner now? Did you do any major repairs?
Is it still going strong?
485,000. Still going strong. The major thing I'll have to do soon is catalytic converter. They're not passing smog hahah. Alternator, cv boots, tbelt was all done when I had it at 465,000.
@@DirtComplex thank you, I am looking 4th gen 4runner but here in Canada there are not very many for sale.
Really likeyour video's. Thank you
I notice your buddy Marcus likes to buy unreliable crap. 🤦♂️ 😂
Hahaha. He was hoping to get more use out of those old tires but now he's forced to buy a lift and tires sooner.
Very cool video, yet again :) The Jeep needs real tires not street tires.
Yeah those tires were not meant for desert speed. We tend to drive faster in the open desert. He was hoping to wear them down a little more before moving onto a lift and bigger tires, but now he doesn't have a choice!
Are those 33's or 35's on your 4runner?
295/70/17 which are 34's. Thanks for watching!
@@DirtComplex thanks 🤙🤙
It would be nice if you just let us hear the vehicles instead of the music. Great video tho
We love hearing engine sounds and the crunching of rocks as well and that's why I try to mix it up to have both. There are a lot of parts where you can hear just the crawling. Honestly as far as engine sound the V8 is the only one worth listening to... but I'm biased. THANKS FOR WATCHING!!
Gotta babysit the Fiat Jeep 🤦♂️
